My husband and I visited this store today. A man walked in carrying a 6-pack of Gold Peak tea saying that he wanted to exchange it. The employees said that he had stolen the tea five minutes ago. He simply put the tea down, picked-up a 6-pack of Dole pineapple juice and walked out. The employees laughed and said that last week the same guy stole five 6-packs of beer. MANY of the shelves in this store are empty. Is it because so many products have been stolen and inventory hasn’t been adjusted that Walgreen’s automatic replenishment system thinks that there is still merchandise on the shelves? Why is this store even open? It seems to be serving the homeless. There isn’t much available to actually purchase. We wasted our time walking into this place. Not to mention how unsafe we felt with the homeless guy self-serving himself. As this guy rushed out of the store his pants fell down….he wasn’t wearing any underwear!!! Walgreen’s needs to either close this location or hire a 24-hour security service.

This walgreens is conveniently located near other restaurants and bars if you need something quick, like snacks, drinks, bathroom products, and even electronics like phone chargers. It's pretty spacious and very organized. There were some deals like liter sodas 2 for $5 (regular price is $3.50 for 1). The aisles were clean, and the workers at the cashier were friendly. The line was pretty long for a weekend evening, so be prepared to wait. They had 3 cashiers working though, so it wasn't a long wait for the check-out line!

Their sale propaganda tags make it impossible to see what’s on the shelf. Their coolers are neat, though

Pleasant old world feel, but they do have food items and laundry detergents and cleansers. They have a Fed ex drop and photo shop. It’s not huge, but if you are visiting it’s located centrally so that you can get your basic needs. Shampoos, soaps and food items.

Walgreens on corner of Taylorsville and bardstown road is the worst. First, I have been approached by multiple pan handlers even in the drive thru. The pharmacy is a mess. Closed because of illness multiple time. One time they couldn't take payments - cards or cash!?!?! I have have to drive a little farther, but there are much nicer Walgreens with much more organized pharmacy. I have moved all of my family's prescriptions to other Walgreens.

Cashier would not give my wife points for her purchase and then charged her twice for milk purchase! Will avoid this store!

Good location, but why is everything locked up?

Great place to get cash back instead of using an ATM. CVS across the street doesn't do cash back.

Cashier was super rude when the first charger we chose from behind the counter wasn't the one we needed and she had to go back for another one. Like five steps away. When we said thank you we got zero response. That being said you cannot beat the location, just don't expect any southern hospitality.

Horrible service by cashier who was flirting with some guys and ignored the long line of customers. We were complaining along with other customers but this cashier continued to laugh and hold long conversation with the guys long after she completed the transaction. When I told her about it she said I needed to learn patience. I asked for her manager and she then yelled for the police to remove me. I couldn’t believe it! There was no threats or even a raised voice by me. She laughed and said “get out then!” I called the mgr the next day(remember she refused to get a mgr). The mgr ASSURED me she would investigate and would call me back. She NEVER DID! Don’t waste your time there. Just go to the CVS across the street. They have more common sense.

This review is for the Walgreens Pharmacy. Generally, I get my prescriptions and leave - no fuss, no muss. Today, I needed help with an insurance snafu. It required three people to help me due to a "perfect storm" of issues, and they were all helpful, friendly, and efficient. I very much appreciated their help and will keep getting my prescriptions filled there.

Ms. Debra was awesome. She exhibit the exemplary customer service everyone strived for their employees to provide to their customers. I called before I went to the store and Ms. Debra greeted me with so much enthusiasm that it immediately brighten my day. When I got to the store she again greeted me warmly and told me where to find the item I was looking for to purchase. As I went to check out, she asked me if I found what I needed and offer the store credit card. I had the best experience. Thank you Ms. Debra you are awesome.

If I could give zero stars I would! Ty is very unprofessional and I have never felt so disrespected by a associate! I live my local Walgreens in the 302 and they would never treat a visitor like that.
