Awful. Takes 45 min to an hr to get through to a person in the pharmacy. Pharmacy techs will hang up you if you ask to speak directly to the pharmacist. Have found the pharmacy techs to be consistently rude over multiple years of filling prescriptions at this location. If insurance didn't force use of Walgreens, would never step foot in this location again. Additionally, I have never been to this location when there weren't panhandlers asking for money as you walk out.

Omg. DO NOT, i repeat, DO NOT use this pharmacy. We have on several occasions received short perscriptions (less pills than were marked on bottle), received wrong medications that if we had taken would have caused death, lost perscriptions (dr had to call in same perscription multiple times because "they couldn't find it". Now they close the pharmacy for remodel with NO NOTICE. This means if you have a perscription for and controlled medication, you are out of luck becausecm this cannot be transferred to another pharmacy. You have to contact your dr and have them reissue the perscription to another pharmacy. Dont even think about calling them they will lie to you , be rude and tell you its not their problem and promptly hang up the phone. If this does not convince you to stop using this walgreens. I wish you all the luck ine world with your medications.

Well stocked and clean. Will go back. Pharmacist was very helpful! Plenty of snacking options as well. Went in for coffee pods, left with 2 bags of bad decisions.

This Walgreens is horrible.There was a long line so we checked out in the photo department. The cashier was so frikin rude She was ignoring us and kept doing something else leaving us standing there .No speaking to us wouldn't even look at us .She is walking around with a pair of walgreens glasses on her head with the packaging still attached .J know things are rough but when yall hired her you really were scraping the bottom of the barrel

I decided to write a review about this Walgreens on Holiday and General DeGaulle after two years of using the pharmacy and making purchases there. The pharmacy has some deep internal problems that make service inefficient and potentially dangerous to patients. Secondly, if you somehow get verbally abused by a customer in that store none of the staff will work to de-escalate the situation. They prefer not to get involved. Not even the manager of the store will intervene. Thirdly, there are often people hanging out in front of the store asking for money when customers enter or leave. Management should hire security for that store especially considering that they are open 24 hours. I have made the decision to stop patronizing that particular store even though it is very close to where I live. I do not have to pay my money and then experience the inevitable stressful situations that arise because of the pharmacy staff's and general staff's inefficiency and policy of indifference when potentially dangerous situations come up at this store.

Why can't we get good service at this WalGreens pharmacy? Someone has finally cleaned up the store but we still have to deal with beggars standing right outside the entrance. Don't they have cameras can't they see the people harassing their customers. They explained the police will not come and go anything about the people hanging out- ok then hire your own security to stand at the door!

I rarely ever write reviews, but this felt worth it. If I could give zero stars to the pharmacy I would. Pharmacist in his late 40s maybe 50s, white, was working at 6am this morning. He not only told me it would be 45min to wait on my prescription (I thought Walgreens prioritized individuals willing to wait in person?), but then had the audacity to disclose his unsolicited judgy opinion on the prescription I was trying to have filled. Pretty sure that's not your job, buddy. It's between me and my doctor. You just put the pills in the container and mind your business unless asked. End rant.

To be blunt, the cashier was rude as hell. I don't have any idea what her problem was, but she needed to leave it at the door before she clocked in. From rolling her eyes at customers, announcing with an attitude that a cashier was in Photo, smacking her lips, and grunting; she did not need to be on the register at that time. When it was my turn to get checked out; I didn't get a greeting. I asked her about the toilet tissue that I was buying, because the sales price didn't ring up. When she told me that I had to put my number in in order to get it on sale, I quickly remembered myself that she was correct. No problem, right? Well, she tells another customer in a disgusted voice, "This gonna be a long day." Ma'am, I just asked you a simple question. How ignorant of me to have asked you such a stressful question on your damn job. I come to this Walgreens often, because it's closer to my house. Most of the time, the cashiers are bland and seem to just not be in a good mood most of the time. But this one I've dealt with today? Baby, she took the cake, and I'll just start going to another Walgreens location in hopes of better customer service.

I am being deployed for 3 months next week. I went to have my prescription filled early. They told me I couldn't since it was early. I than went to my dr and got a new prescription to be filled for my deployment. I went back to my Walgreens and they told me it was the same pill and they couldn't fill it unless I paid the cash price. I informed them I have insurance and this was a new script because I couldn't get the the old one filled in time before i left for deployment. I asked for my script back and they didn't want to give it to me because they were going to file it behind my old one. I said no your not because I need this medication. I've always used Walgreens for my prescriptions but now I am going to move them to a different pharmacy since this is how military being deployed is treated.

Stopped here with a friend cashier was down right nasty ...Attitude.Shaking her head at people .I guess she thinks she is better than everyone else.So much better you make 9 bucks an hour.

If I could give the pharmacy at this location a negative, I would. My mother had surgery on her achilles tendon and we dropped of her meds on the way home. We asked the woman if I could pick them up and she said yes. We went home and after several hours of not hearing from the pharmacy, my mother called to get a status on the prescription. She was told it was not ready. After 45 min she called again, and was told that some of it was ready but the rest was not. She called again, at this point 4 hours after her surgery and her nerve block was wearing off - the doctor had told us not to let this happen, because she would be in excruciating pain. When the woman answered the phone, she stated that "someone" had been calling and asking about the prescription and the she needed to verify that it was my mom, therefore, she needed to come into the store to pick up the prescription. My mom explained to the woman that it WAS her that she was on medication, and that she could not come into the store - she had just had surgery on her foot. The woman insisted that she come into the store and she could not go through the drive-thru. So I had to get my mother dressed, AFTER A SURGERY, AFTER THE NERVE BLOCK HAD WORN OFF, to go into the store. When we arrived, the woman stated that it "did not sound like my mom on the phone". My mom was livid. SINCE WHEN DOES THIS WOMAN KNOW WHAT THE HELL MY MOM SOUNDS LIKE? WE DON'T KNOW HER! After confirming her identity via her drivers license, she gave us the medication. This is was totally unacceptable. After all of this, my mother was in extreme pain for DAYS!!!! I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT INTO THIS STORE AGAIN!

Worst Walgreens in New Orleans, went to the pharmacy inside that had a ridiculous line so went to the drive through and sat behind two cars for almost 30minutes.. also they have the most rude cashiers..

The staff at this Walgreens are consistently useless. They have misplaced or claimed to not receive prescription orders at least five times when every time I have placed the orders via the automated system and followed up with a phone call in the following days to check the status. I've used them for years and am going to take my business elsewhere immediately.
