So i guess they close when they feel like it. Being honest i was really depending on them. The lady looked at the clock and decided that's the time they close. Big time bs i just had to shake my head and walk away before negative energy come about

Ewwww weeee!!! Horrible!! This was by far the most disgusting thing I've seen at any food establishment. To know that dead flies were copious at the deli was inexcusable. There is absolutely NO WAY these people clean regularly at home. A clean person would never stand to leave a space where they work or live in such a nauseating way. I spoke with Pam, the manager this evening and she was somewhat understanding. She didn't seem too alarmed which was weird. She said they have a staffing issue. My response was that cleanliness should have nothing to do with staffing issues. In fact, I saw several employees standing around talking. Two young men by the restroom. Seafood guy watching the game on his phone. Two at customer service. Two were facing inventory and four registers open (including the liquor area register). However, the deli staff ought to be ashamed of themselves. Cleaning the deli is a part of their duties and yet these nasty dead flies were all in the cooler, literally chilling with the food. Ugh!!! Unfortunately, management bears the ultimate responsibility. Mark, the general manager is a very nice gentleman but he has to crack the whip. I know it's hard getting good personnel but had the health dept been the one taking pictures, this would probably be a bigger issue than a Yelp review. I will never come here again because I know that cleanliness isn't a standard or an enforced operating procedure. I try to support all of the local grocers but this is beyond disturbing. Y'all can't blame this on COVID-19...no ma'am.

I went to go enjoy my coffee this morning with the new creamer I just purchased. I JUST OPENED IT TODAY AND IT WAS CURDLED! It does not expire until July 24, 2021. I am so grossed out!

This is a pathetic store. They have horrible customer service. I called 5 times to find out if they had artichokes. The would pick up and put me on hold. Even the manager wouldn't pick up. When she finally picked up, she just transferred me to produce who would never pick up the phone. There is no excuse for that. Just go to Rouses!

Since this is the most convenient grocery store to my Mom's house, I have frequented this WD quite a few times. With all of the great grocery stores in the city, Winn Dixie is not my favorite to go to. I mean I have one down the street from where I live. But for quick in and out trips, this is my spot when visiting. The thing I like about Louisiana groceries that a lot of places don't have is the liquor selection. The prices are really good and they actually have specials. Unlike my home state where prices are set by the state. They have done some improvements to this store over the years and it is really wide open. For the most part, it is pretty organized. It is really hard to find a cart that doesn't have some issue. And when I have had questions, it has been difficult to get help. Overall, an A-ok store that serves a good purpose for me.

Store itself was okay. We stopped in to grab a few things. Our checker, Jayshan, was very inattentive and completely uninterested in her job. She never interacted with customers in any way, never even made eye contact. She was too busy talking to other employees or picking her nails. I'm shocked that we didn't have to bag our groceries. Just glad we don't live near here. I would drive out of my way to avoid this type of treatment.

Absolutely almost positively the worst Winn Dixie in New Orleans. I'm only giving this store two stars because I feel they deserve that second one since they are so awful. There registers are always crowded and they take forever to check people out. I've come here multiple times to find no baskets available and no one gathering them back up. There never really seems to be a manager on duty either or at least anyone that resembles a manager. Unfortunately this small Algiers neighborhood is currently held hostage by this Winn Dixie and Rouses which will be another review at a later date. Avoid this location unless you like to put yourself in painful situations. Just got here tonight at 10 and they have about 50-100 baskets that are labeled All Broken. Once again consistently the worst grocery store in the area when it comes to service. It's Friday night at 7 and there are only 2 registers open.
