Love this place! Their beef meat pies are soo addictive. You can also find other latino grocery items like chips, refried beans, fresh cheese. They also have really good beef soup - for that typical Nola hangover.

What a wonderful new discovery today: the best Cuban sandwich in town! Hands down the freshest ingredients, the bread is impeccable and the pickles augment what can best be described as a fantastic curry flavor. This is just the beginning of many more trips to a Mid City gem in the making. From cafe-style seating for your morning cafe Cubano and baleadas to guava pastries to shopping for you empenada staples for your meal at home, this place is a winner! The staff all smiles, too!!!

I have driven by here many times, and finally stopped in on a rainy Saturday afternoon. To my surprise, it is not just a bakery but also a huge Latin market! Every single person in there was extremely helpful and friendly. I wasn't very hungry, so I didn't get anything from the hot food bar, instead opting for a tres leches cake, pineapple filled turnover, and a meat pie. The meat pie was delicious, and the desserts weren't really my taste. But there was SO MUCH in there to eat (and a little dining area), that I will definitely stop in again when I'm actually hungry. My Spanish wasn't quite strong enough for communication; however, there were plenty of English speaking staff to help me out. It looks as though she also does catering - I saw a van being loaded and many people walking out with family sized dishes/casserole sized portions. Parking lot directly in front of store or street parking.

It was great to hear a Honduran bakery exists here in New Orleans, feels like a little piece of home. Unfortunately, there aren't many Hispanic places in the city to go to. But when I heard of a guava and cream cheese king cake, I jumped on it immediately. I called ahead and was able to order one for pick up the next day. I picked it up in time for our staff to enjoy. The breading was not dry and moist to enjoy, and ratio of guava and cream cheese made it delectable. Definitely a location to enjoy king cake from next season. The staff were friendly and helpful, that I ended up picking up more pastries to take. Overall a great experience and can't wait to go back and pick up some more items.

My son dicided he wanted a birthday cake last minute. He is really into Fortnite and he is Autistic so if he didn't get it he was going to be really upset and explaining why it didn't work out would not make since to him. I walked into Normas with a picture on my phone and they were so sweet and helpful and made his cake in 30mins I loved it it was so beautiful fresh and delicious. 100% recommend to anyone.

Not sure what in the world they put into that yellow rice, but good god, it was fantastic. Beef was very flavorful as well. Sweet plantains were a nice touch. But seriously, that yellow rice. My boyfriend loved it. Full disclosure, I strongly considered not giving him a single bite, and may have stolen his portion of leftovers. (He has no proof, so...) Whatever. All's fair in love, war, and delicious Latino foods.

Really good food! The Cuban Sandwhich was basically perfect. And the queso Pupusa was delicious. Very clean place and friendly staff. And the bakery had the perfect "Mexican sprinkle cookie" which is the sign of a great bakery.
