Why is this facility still running despite the horrible treatment of its residents? Why has the state not stepped in?

If I could give negative 5 stars I would. I could go into all of the heartache and frustration my family has experienced with this place, but my anxiety level would soar.During the time my mother was there, the place went through 3 head administrators, all of them absolutely awful! This place is run so poorly, it's a complete joke! And the level of cleanliness and care is a joke as well! DO NOT BRING YOUR LOVED ONE HERE!!!!!!!

If I could give this nursing home negative stars, I would. Every time I've visited my mother (I don't live in the state), she has been neglected. The CNAs leave their personal items in her room and use it as a break room. Her call button is rarely near her. She is left slumped in a chair or turned against the wall. The administrator is useless. He gets paid and that's the extent of his involvement.

The only thing nice about this place is private rooms. Residents are neglected, ignored, etc. My father in law almost died in there because of a very bad UTI. I had to request for them to do a urine test to check for a UTI. CNAs are always in the breakroom. The good nurses & CNAs are overworked because of the lazy ones. The only time they are on their game is when the State is in. That's when you can find all the workers & they are so helpful & attentive.
