Chevron Opelousas is noted as one of the best and cleanest truck stops. It offers free showers, free wifi, and free parking for truckers. The staff is great and ready to help. There is also a good Spanish restaurant inside that has tequila. The lot is safe, clean, immaculate, and does not smell. Drivers feel appreciated at this amazing and awesome place, which is definitely recommended.
Unless you’re going in the Mexican restaurant, I wouldn’t recommend stopping here for food. Apparently the only other hot or “fresh” food item is a few individually boxed pizza items.
