Hickory Grocery & Grill is a great little local store with a friendly staff and a small town feel. It serves absolutely delicious and freshly made food for all three meals, including a highly recommended breakfast. The store offers everything from fresh fried chicken to local honey, along with several choices of things you need. It also has gas pumps. The business provides an escape from larger corporate stores.
Friendly employees, food was cooked quickly. The burgers were perfect!

We visited this area and this little local grocery store has THE BEST breakfast! I ordered 2 eggs OM, bacon, cheese grits, and a biscuit. WOW! We had to repeat 1 more time before moving on. We even took some biscuits with us for later. I highly recommend this little diamond in the rough.

Hickory is ripping people off at the gas pump. I think the pump is rigged. It shows that your getting what you pay for on the pump but not on my fuel gauge!!!
