Only reason this store gets a 1 star is because CVS CUSTOMER SERVICE knows how to be professional, take initiative, and can handle customers properly
Best Advice to all Pharm Customers, Take the time to get to know customer service every day for about an entire 2 weeks.
They fixed my issue real quick and when I ran into the same ole crap, oh the diagnostic codes isn't reading......I just yelled OMG You got to be kidding me after I just had customer service on phone with me for 2 weeks!...I hear them quickly reply, your prescriptions are being filled
How hard is it now days to hire someone with a smile and customer appreciate and top service...for CVS here its impossible

LAST COUPLE VISITS WERE MUCH EASIER AND PLEASANT EXCEPT THE EMPLOYESS IN THE DRIVE THRU WINDOW SHOULD SMILE JUST LIKE THE EMPLOYEES UPFRONT!!
Update as of 9/20/25 You down graded tremendously with the man who can't smile servicing the drive through. Geez

I walked in CVS one day and made a larger purchase, and an employee offered me $10 off to sign up for the membership, and my response was that I didn’t want it if it had a fee. The employee assured me there was no fee and that there was 2 seperate memberships.
Fast forward 2 weeks later I woke up to money taken out of my account from CVS. I walked in the store, found the manager and explained to her what happened. The manager immediately insinuated it was my fault and said that I’m the one that chose the membership, and I said no, all I did was type in my email. She became rude and said “no YOUR the one that makes the membership, not us” and I said “exactly, and I picked the membership that was FREE and your employee put me on the plus that costs money which I specifically asked to not be on.” It ended up becoming an argument; I was baffled at how RUDE this lady was. She told she couldn’t help me and I had to call the customer service, which lets me know the employee wasn’t going to be reprimanded for her actions.
Please be careful and don’t let the stores get you!

This was my first time at the Pharmacy in Ponchatoula!
I arrived in the drive thru it was moving quickly the staff that helped me from the window was really friendly and thoughtful informing me about the price before I paid (over $100). I told her I would try to make some calls and come back. When I came back after shopping I stopped inside and talked to another thoughtful staff member. I told her I had seen family receive discounts at CVS locations. She got the prescription down to a price I was willing to pay and then another staff member (in the coat) helped me get $10 more dollars off. This took less than 5 minutes in the drive thru and 10 minutes inside. I was nervous I just wasn't going to pick up my prescription but they helped me get my medicine. Thanks for all of yalls help, I really appreciated it! Looking forward to using this specific CVS in the future!
* I drove through the drive thru around 10:30 and was in the store at Noon.*

The girls in the pharmacy are so rude. They don't ask questions, they just in a hurry. They have messed up my prescriptions many times cause they NOT listening. 1 was just defiant. Not pleased

Worst service in history. Hire someone to answer the phone and actually help people. Automated woman asks me if I’m asking about my exact prescription, then says she can’t find it???? 20 minutes after their posted lunch hours and still get “ this pharmacy is temporarily closed “

Denied pregnant daughter bathroom during strawberry festival and purchase something there was told portal potty outside / I hope corporate see this also/ was told this by pharmacy technician / you can not denied a person public bathroom.

Just wanted say thank you to the kind, knowledgeable, helpful lady who answered my call in Pharmacy at 9:13 this morning. Didn’t catch her name but THANK YOU for taking the time to go the extra mile for me this morning. I normally use Hammond Cvs on W Thomas but I am in desperate need of my heart medicine. They couldn’t give me any information on my medicine or where I can find it. I called Ponchatoula and they so nicely found it close to me to pick up. I love great customer service!!

I’ve never been to a CVS with such unhappy and unhelpful people in the pharmacy. 85% of my interactions with them are clearly an inconvenience. They don’t tell you when they don’t fill your prescription completely so check your quantities before you leave. All inquiries seem to be a significant bother to them. I need to find a different location. I’m sure they would prefer that.

There are two pharmacists at this location. Kristen, who is very kind, knowledgeable and helpful and Monica , who seems very unprofessional to me. I am moving my business to another pharmacy because of Monica‘s behavior and Miranda’s behavior.If you choose this location, please be sure to deal only with Kristen. I could give more specifics here , however, I am speaking with Corporate.
