Perfectly imperfect... just as I expect from all hotels. Comfortable, with large rooms/suites.

Scary place, not very clean either. I left and went to another hotel. Didn't bother to check out or ask for my money back.

Standards for the choice hotels seem to be slacking. I might switch over and book all hotels through one of the other convenient rewards programs.

15+ min from downtown BR no matter what any maps say. Booked room *with hot tub* through Expedia, told hot tub room "not available" upon check-in, but still got charged the difference for it!! Thanks a lot Expedia/Comfort Suites. But here's where the "hotel" *helped* us out. We were sold the ONLY ROOM on the 1st floor that the blinds don't close all the way! A BIG BLINDING LIGHT that was shining on the building smooth through our window was "fixed" by putting a cardboard box top on the light outside that was 8ft from our window. It lasted less than 2 minutes before the wind blew it off. By utilizing a previously cut hole in the drapes and sticking the stick curtain controller through it, we make-shift covered our window about 70%. Pictures posted.Only solace was that it was very quiet in the hotel and the 3 item hot breakfast was indeed hot. But twilight morning sun came rushing in waking us way before we planned. Was never given password to the wifi.No sheets or blankets provided from FOH for sofa bed. Told that 'house keeping' "keeps them under lock and key and are not accessible until the morning". Really? So anyone that checks in at the 4pm check in time can't get sofa bed sheets? Does ANYONE get them? They did turn on the lights at the pool after we walked there and sat for a few minutes, then went back to room to change to swim. Water was green but I booked a hotel with a pool because we like to swim. Wouldn't suggest staying in it too long.Fast food places nearby rated under 3 stars. Scared to eat there. Waffle House was good though. After our concert the previous evening and being denied sheets for the sofa bed, I'm just too tired to do anything else other than go home. Rent here at your own discretion. Rates might be good but the "comfort" ain't in it.

Old reviews had us worried but they must have fixed all issues because we had a perfectly acceptable experience. New AC, small clean bathroom, old but clean carpets, small clean gym with bike, treadmill, and lat pulldown. Would stay here again.

Stayed at this hotel for a long vacation with my family. Upon check-in the front desk was courteous and helpful as we were checking in late with a baby in tow. We were on the third floor, and used the elevator the entirety of our stay. The room was spacious, but the AC was off at our arrival. It did work well during our stay, during a great heat wave in Louisiana. Breakfast was hot every morning, a side note, it is says hours are from 6 to 9 AM and they clean it up at exactly 9 AM. During our stay getting clean towels was an issue. They would take them for washing and not replace them. Constantly had to ask for clean towels. Midway through our stay the mini fridge in our room froze up, and defrosted water on the carpet. My husband did notify the front desk, which supplied us towel to soak up the water. My husband also disclosed that we had refrigerated Insulin and milk for our baby. They did offer to house that in fridge in the lobby if the mini fridge didn't start cooling again. Finally, the worst was the room smelled moldy after the fridge leak. Overall I think this would be a great place for an overnight stay, maybe not an eight night stay.

Was there for work. Was disappointed in the pool area. The lone chair in the area. Trash bugs. I was there the week before and said something about it. I was told people were using it. The whole week I was there, nobody used it. Not inviting at all.

Terrible , nasty rooms. Would never stay here again. Stains on curtains, A/C would not cool room. Small breakfast area and most food gone by 9AM. Pillows had blood stains on them. Didn’t have extra towels for the rooms or pool area.

Horrible smelling room. Both myself and my coworker had to get room spray. We both had to spray the room numerous times cover up the mildewy smell. Numerous outlets did not work in the room. Handles for the closet had a sticky residue on it. The time on the microwave hadn't been cleared out since the last time someone used it. We attempted to eat breakfast downstairs. Granted we cam towards the last 30 minutes, the hot food was cold and the eggs were sticking to the tray. I went to use the microwave and it was a mess (lots of food in it). After seeing a bagel with mold on it, I knew not to try anything from the refrigerator. The overall area didn't feel great and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Empty tissue box, rusty toilet paper dispenser, hair in tub, and one coffee packet. Breakfast is complimentary and so technically not part of e price just a selling point but there was none, not even cold. This was the Saturday after thanksgiving. Close to being worth the money but not.

When we walked into the room, there was a musty smell like it had been smoked in at some point. Also the smoke detector was "chirping", indicating a low battery. I removed the smoke detector battery while we cleaned up to go out to dinner. Stopping at the front desk, I asked if they had a new battery. The clerk called the maintenance person, and they told her no, no batteries, just un plug it from the wall ????????. Also asked if they had some room deodorant. No, they did not. I told her I would take care of it. Bought a new battery and a can of Febreze. The clerk never offered to reimburse me and at check out no offer then either.Louisiana law concerning smoke detectors:A. Every new or renovated hotel or motel room shall have sleeping rooms equipped with approved fire detection and alarm systems for the hearing impaired in case of fire in accordance with the requirements of Section 9 of the Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG) table 9.1.

Things get worse and worse here. Ice machine still broken after 3 months, main lobby bathroom out of service, still not serving a complete breakfast, exercise room still closed, door on the South entrance still won't accept a key card from the outside and to top it off this, my last visit, I come in from work and they've dumped my garbage on the desk, that's the oddest thing I've ever seen. There's several other things but these are the main ones. See my picture of the garbage.
