We were passing through the area and had major car trouble. When we pulled up here, our van could not safely leave to go anywhere else. The brakes had completely gone out. They knew we were far from home and stranded at their shop. They were very accommodating and fair. They didn't take advantage of the situation. They went out of the way to take care of us. We tried to get an Uber to take us to our hotel. The drivers kept cancelling. After the fourth driver cancelled, the mechanic offered to take us to our hotel. The entire staff was wonderful to us. The next morning the mechanics came in two hours early so they could get the repairs finished in time for us to check out of our hotel. They didn't want us to have to pay for a second night at the hotel. The mechanic even called when he was finished and said he was on his way to come pick us up at the hotel. Breaking down is very stressful. We were hours from home. They got us fixed up and back on the road. I'm so grateful for the way they treated us. I can't recommend them enough. Honest and friendly people that know what they are going and go the extra mile to take care of their customers.

They lied saying they checked the fluids in my vehicle. Never checked I was low on all fluids. Being honest up front when a customer ask an employee a question. Is very important, all the customer want is an honest answer. A lie is never good, speaks alot about the person. This has happened more than once at this location.

Simpsons auto service, I picked to fix my 2005 Chevy Silverado 1500 Z71 , it was having heating problems, so I had it towed to Simpsons after reading all the reviews, after dropping my truck off , I called the next morning to check on it , and the owner Mr Greg said let me let you talk with my mechanic Quinn , the mechanic got on the phone and told me my head gaskets were blown and it would cost anywhere between 5 and 7 thousand dollars, but he said if I couldn't afford to fix it he would buy my body from for 2000 cash , I almost sold my truck to him but God spoke to me and said don't sale it.Long story short I had another mechanic in baton rouge check my truck and all it was was my radiator had a hole in it a 400 dollar fix , so I was so happy I went ahead and had him fix everything as far as little issue and I by choice spent $4,305 .That's what the mechanic Quinn cost Simpsons to not make. All I'm saying is if the mechanic Quinn would have really checked out was wrong with my motor and checked the radiator out , instead of being more interested in buying my truck out front under me , he would have made his boss $4,300 .I originally gave Simpsons a 5 star review. My reviews are seen all over I have over I 600,000 views and I hate to give a negative review. But I felt that this had to be posted to help some other customer from not having their vehicle properly diagnosed and end costing them more or them sailing their vehicle because they couldn't afford to fix it.Back to my truck if I would have let Simpsons fix my heads gaskets that were good , the truck would have ran hot again because Quinn the mechanic had told me my radiator was good . When that was the real problem having a hole in it .

Tried to over charge for labor and diagnostic test. After receiving my car back they did not properly check and fix what I paid for. Better speak to the manager before agreeing to get your car serviced by the mechanics here!

My vehicle has been in 4 different shops (dealership included) in the last 3 mnths, and none could figure out my issue. These guys had it for 1 day and was to figure out the problem, and have it ready to go within a few days!

First of all I NEVER write review. But this morning I will take an exception. My wife went here one morning and was there For 7:34 a.m.. They open at 7:30. She then waited for 20 minutes without even being recognized as a customer! The workers were busy talking and dabbing each other up. With the exception of one who was working on a tire change. Kudos to him! My wife was just trying to get an oil change and an inspection sticker. Guess what?! Due to their rudeness, lack of customer service and professionalism they just lost an opportunity to serve someone in their community!
