“We had a wonderful experience with Dr. Hansen, Kimberly and their team at Perkins Road Vet Hospital! We are New Orleans residents with a Baton Rouge apartment and came by to get my dog's monthly injection. She had some weight loss and they suggested I see the vet and she immediately saw me with no wait and was so kind and compassionate and really explored all of the potential problems my senior lab could be having. I was very fortunate to locate this clinic and will be using them for all of our pet needs in Baton Rouge! Again, I can't say enough about the provider and her staff!”

“Easy in- easy out. What a blessing to the community! They included some extra stuff like, they trimmed my cats claws while he was under, even gave him a tiny tattoo on his belly button...awe.I think they also pulled out his baby fangs that were holding on for dear life! All for AVERY reasonable price. Was only$50 for a neuter. 25 extra for the rabies vaccine. They were great!
Will be bringing my little chihuahua for a neuter next.”

“Our 10 year-old Chihuahua, Rocky, had his teeth cleaned and 2 extractions and a toe that was swollen for at least 6 months amputated. Dr. Paula and her staff took excellent care of him. They checked his ears and trimmed his nails and more than likely did more. He has never been treated so well. They treated us like we were part of the pack. {~.~}”

“Dr. Tobi and the whole staff at Bocage Animal Hospital is absolutely wonderful! Dr. Tobi always has the best interest of my pets and is extremely knowledgeable. She recently did a teeth cleaning on my mini golden doodle Tilly and I couldn’t be more happy with the results. We also have a very old lab and Dr. Tobi is so great with him too. I couldn’t recommend Bocage Animal Hospital more! They are also very affordable!”

We loved the boarding and playcare options and it gave us peace of mind that they were somewhere safe. We recently with through the process of euthanizing our dog and the HRAH team was with us at every step. They will always have our thanks and appreciation. “I brought my puppy in multiple times here. Dr. Greene is super nice and very informative with any questions and he will even ask you questions to make sure y'all talk about things which was great. The puppy shots were averaged price. I know places off Highland that cost double..but I wouldn't say GDAH was cheap. I can always get an appointment, and they are always helpful over the phone for any weird questions you may have. The sick pet fee is pretty high, which is unfortunate. I really like the atmosphere here but I do wish you could see them wipe down more things sometimes. My dog has peed on their floor and they were quick to clean it up.”
“Animal Health Clinic has been such a blessing! I adopted a senior dog two years ago who was very overweight and had a plethora of other issues that accompanied his extra pounds. Dr. Leonards and all of the techs were always patient with answering my questions. My old man did succumb to kidney failure, but the staff was so sweet through the entire process. Since his passing, I got a new dog & taking her to AHC was a no-brainer! The entire staff greets her so excitedly anytime we walk in and they are always ready to help us! There is no better vet in Baton Rouge!”

“I recently had to take my Frenchie, Ellé, down there because my local vet dx’d her with lymphoma. We went through their Small Animal Clinic ER and was quickly assessed and referred to the oncologist. Sadly, the lymphoma was very aggressive and I chose to bring her home on palliative care. She passed on 1-31-26. I can’t say enough good things about the hospital and the care and concern Dr. Hodgkiss gave her. It really meant a lot knowing that she got such tender and excellent care while away from me. Thank you.”

“Recently I had to make a hard decision to let go of a pet for not easy reasons. I consulted Dr. Moreno, one of the veterinarians who had treated one of my other dogs, because I wasn't sure whether I was making the proper choice. He was a godsend and provided me with valuable advice and support. I knew what I had to do, but at first I couldn't bring myself to bring her in. I waited for a very long time--longer than I should have, at the expense of another pet--and eventually had to see a different veterinarian. I was concerned that she would think I was a bad person for making this choice but instead she was what I can only describe as an angel that was sent to me that day. She said that she could see I hadn't made the decision lightly, which meant so much and when I decided I couldn't be present during the process she didn't make me feel like a monster. I cannot speak for everyone since I have only dealt with Dr. Sacshe and Dr. Moreno but they were the epitome of excellence and compassion and credits to their profession and whoever trained them.”

“Took my girls there to get spayed. The process of set-up and drop was easy. Also there are extra services that are offered in addition to spay/neuter services. I was very pleased at the price to have both cats spayed. My vet would have cost over $400 for each cat. Spay service is so much cheaper here. And I am so grateful Dr. Fairchild is offering services at a great price point. The staff was amazing and friendly. Post Op instructions were given and explained to me. In addition to having the nurse help put my girls in the spay suit I'd brought to avoid the cone.”
