Our pup had a great time at Camp Bow Wow Prairieville! It was wonderful to check in on him via the cameras, and we felt the whole team was excited to have him. It’s always hard to leave our pets, even for just a few days, but we appreciate the care and attention!

My dog and I really enjoy camp bow wow. There was one instance where she was bitten by another dog and broke her nail. Camp bow wow manager Cameron didn’t hesitate to offer paying for a vet bill if needed. I did end up taking her for the mail that was broken so vets could wrap it up. Called Cameron at camp bow wow and they paid for her visit. They are very humble and truly look out for my dogs best interest. Everyone is always so kind.

We haven't used this place yet. We toured and the puppies are having an interview today before we board them. So far, it's been great.

I brought my rescue here with high expectations. Upon arriving for an interview, I informed the staff that my dog was very intimidated meeting new people and that she may growl or snap. But once she's been around you for a bit, she starts to warm up. She was behaving just as I expected her to. They brought her to the play yard to introduce her to other dogs. I told them she does fine with dogs no matter what. She proved me right when not only did she not show any anxiety or aggression, she really didn't interact with them at all. But she didn't seem to like how often they changed out staff members in the yard. She especially wasn't fond of the 2 male staff members who had their turn in the yard. I was viewing on the camera when one male employee was in with her and she was standing across the room from him. There is no audio so I'm not sure what happened, but he walked across the room, passed my dog, picked up a water bottle, turned toward her and sprayed her in the face! After that, I watched my baby avoid him at all costs. Yet when I was called to pick her up early because she "failed her interview", I was told she was being very aggressive with him. I'm not sure if standing across the room from him was aggressive to him but he sprayed her several more times. At one point, he called her over, she jumped up and was wagging her tail. He was petting her. Then, when she got down, he sprayed her again! When I got there, the very sweet girl at the desk was explaining to me that I could return and try again. That's when another girl brought my dog to me and said, "I'm sorry, but she won't be able to stay here." When I said I was just told she could come back and do another interview, it was obvious that she was irritated that I was even told that. I scheduled for the next day. I left, and about a half hour later I received an e-mail that said my dog had passed the interview! This definitely raised a red flag. I ended up having to cancel the following day due to unforeseen circumstances. Eleven days later, I received an e-mail from Camp Bowwow asking to rate my experience. I was completely honest in my rating and review. Upon submitting, it said I would be contacted to discuss my disappointment. It's been over a week, I'm still waiting. In the meantime, my friend took her very lovable lab to do an interview. I opened up the Camp Bowwow app to peek at her dog and that's when I was informed I had no account with them! I tried to do a password retrieval and was met with the response that my e-mail is not in their system. So, I guess since I gave negative feedback due to my rescue not being the "perfect" dog, they just removed me from their system altogether. The bottom line is if you have a picture perfect pet that is pleasant all the time, they can handle it. But, if you have a dog who has been rescued from what vets have told me was extreme abuse, and they need a little extra time or patience, Camp Bowwow Prairieville cannot OR will not provide that for your baby. And apparently won't even contact you to possibly find a solution. I'm happy I found a place for her where they love her and understand her needs. Camp Bowwow didn't.Update: Even though I was given a message that my e-mail was not in their system, I continue to receive e-mails from them at the SAME e-mail address they claim they don't have in the system.

I sent and email and they called me back the next day. I called on December 20th and was looking for care for the week of December 27th-January 2nd. Before I could actually say what I need or even anything at all. The guys says we can’t do a tour until January 3rd is that okay? I ended the conversation by saying I was looking for care this week and Thank you. Customer service could be better.
