“I am very satisfied with Chris, the repair person who originally diagnosed my refrigerator problem and who came today to fix the issue as I had received the part.
I am dissatisfied with Sears scheduling system because before Chris came back today, I had 2 repair persons on the way and both got canceled at the last minute. One was canceled because his vehicle broke down and that was understandable. But the next day the repair person was canceled with no explanation and I had to wait for an automated reschedule. When you guys schedule people for appointments, you tie them up for an entire day since your schedule says from 7 am to 6 pm. Just to get my refrigerator fixed, I had to wait on you for 4 days. The original appointment, the first canceled appointment, the second canceled appointment, and finally the actual day of repair. Since Chris came before noon on the original appointment and the actual repair day appointment, that wasn't too bad as I had the rest of the day to take care of my business. The 2 canceled appointments were entire days absolutely wasted waiting around. Sears you need to fix this problem with your scheduling and maybe hire more people who are qualified to do the work. You are trying to sell me a maintenance contract costing $74 a month and I got to tell you, I'm not so sure that is a great idea if you can't get repair people to the appointments in a timely manner.
Also, if I canceled with less than 24 hours notice, you would charge me a cancellation fee. You should have to compensate me for your cancellations.
