Nonc Kev's Specialty Meats is a great place for a taste of Louisiana. The chicken cracklings are outstanding, superb, and unbelievable—like chicken crack. The boudin balls are fabulous, the best, and unbelievable, and the hamburgers are awesome and delicious. Their specialty meats are fine and proper, with many different dinner options, stuffed meats, and amazing hot plates. The pork rinds, pork cracklings, boudin egg rolls, and Tasso sandwich are also superb and worth the stop. It is a gas station with great customer service, a place people come all the way for, and 100% recommended.
Great service and awesome food! Never been a fan of boudin balls and they actually had some cream cheese and jalepeno boudin which changed my mind… it was great! Also got some seasoned pork steaks that will knock your socks off! So many options, all great. Definitely going to make this a regular stop on my way to Texas!

Some of the best boudin balls around, great plate lunches as well! The burgers, esp the jalapeno chicken burger are about as good and old fashioned as it gets! For the money and the food, theres no reason to go to a big fast food franchise if you're around. Super nice staff over the years I might add.
