Let me start off by saying the staff here is amazing and I can tell they all enjoy working there which is hard to find these days. I recently had a baby and have been struggling to recover after my c-section. A young beautiful lady by the name of Lashondra came from behind the pharmacy section and walked with me through the store helping me find medicines and supplies to ease my pain and soothe me. As a new mother I am already stressed enough and her kindness made me feel special. Please keep her around!

It's sad when someone is standing in photo department looking for someone's order and I'm standing there and she says she can't get mine i have to wait in long line in front for someone to help me. I'm so tired of crappy service. No one has customer service anymore or don't know how to talk to someone.

Denise who checked us in for our vaccination and Lam, the pharmacist, were very professional, knowledgeable and kind. I’d recommend them both for being great Walgreens employees.

This Walgreens is absolutely horrendous! The staff at the pharmacy is mediocre at best and the pharmacists are incompetent.
For example, I got out of the hospital on a Friday. The doctor called in a prescription that she wanted me to start taking immediately. The pharmacist advised me that the medication was out-of-stock but that they had ordered it and it would be in on Monday. My husband called the pharmacy on Monday and they said they were filling the prescription and would have it ready in a couple of hours. So I gave them four hours to fill the prescription.
My husband and I decided to go to dinner before picking up the prescription. While we’re at dinner, I get a phone call from one of the pharmacist at Walgreens advising me that the medication was out-of-stock. I was flabbergasted because hours earlier we had spoken to one of the pharmacist who advised us that the prescription was being filled and would be available for pick up within an hour.
I reiterated to the pharmacist that my doctor wanted me to start taking the medication immediately and that I was advised on Friday that although the medication was out-of-stock, they were ordering it and that it would be in on Monday. She said she was sorry about the mix up. I said that this wasn’t a mix up but incompetence. She apologized again and said it would be okay. I said it wasn’t okay. She then said that yes, it wasn’t okay and that she had misspoken.
She went on to tell me that they were ordering the medication and that it should be in on Wednesday. WEDNESDAY?! A medication that I was supposed to take immediately was now three days past. Now I’m being advised that it would be another three days. So now we’re talking six days past the day that my doctor wanted me to start taking the medication.
The incompetence of this pharmacy is incredible. I cannot believe that Walgreens actually has these pharmacists working for them. I hope that corporate headquarters reads this review and takes actions to correct this problem.

This service level at this location is terrible. I dropped off prescriptions to be filled and was told I could wait and it would be 30 minutes. It took 75 minutes to fill.
How management continues to allow such poor service is unacceptable!

I came here for my photo order and met a young lady there. She was so sweet and showed me how to use their machine step by step. Jacquelyn is her name I believe. She was very kind to offer my grandmother a seat while we get everything together as well.

I’ve been coming here for years for my prescriptions (even back when it was Rite Aid) and I’ve never had a bad experience. I wanted to leave a review today because of the amazing Pharm Tech that helped us today. Her name is Alexandria and she was phenomenal! She was so patient while we tried different coupon codes for my dog’s medicine and the service was spectacular. I’ve never had anything negative to say about anyone in the Pharmacy, in fact my heart goes out to them for all the Kens & Karens they’re forced to deal with everyday. Thank y'all for all you do, it is appreciated! And maybe turn the A/C on just a smidge? It’s a bit muggy back there, I’m sure it’d be more comfortable for the employees. ? Thanks again, Alexandria! You’re amazing!

Kept me on hold for 45 mins. They kept hanging up on me and finally when I was able to get through the manager didn't even apologize. I cancelled my account and told all my patients to never shop at Walgreens again.

Worst pharmacy in the world of pharmacies. I came here for a rapid test for 12:15, I didn’t get it done until 12:50.. They were about to make me sign papers for a covid test, which I didn’t need ( I have already ) … the line was so long, people were told to wait 30 mins for their medicines because they’re backed up..My boyfriend went for a rapid test same exact time 12:15 & guess what time he got his done? 12:50 literally… the exact same.. they also made him do the test himself. Very slow, everybody seems confused there.. ??I think they need to do a reset on the entire team!!!!

After an emergency visit to our veterinarian, after hours, on Friday January 19th, our vet called the pharmacy at 9705 Jefferson Highway to request an prescription for our dog who was in excruciating pain. He ordered 60 300 mg pills of Gabapentin for our 50 lbs dog. Hearing the conversation on speaker phone, I knew exactly who the pharmacist was on the phone. I have had interactions with her over filling a prescription previously. I literally heard her question a LICENSED VETERINARIAN saying that she was questioning the prescription on a Friday night????? My vet was completely floored and asked what did it matter that it was a Friday night...she insinuated that we were trying to get the 300 mg pills on a Friday night for reasons other than to alleviate the horrible pain that my one year old dog was suffering with. I was COMPLETELY embarrassed with the encounter. Our vet gave her his license number and was in fact calling from the vet office (which is down the street from from the pharmacy). She proceeded to again question the prescription and our vet to which our vet told her that he would give her the data and journal articles which would back up his request for the medicine. She refused to fill the entire prescription and would only give us half saying that she would contact our vet on Monday to fill the other half of the prescription. Again...I was extremely embarrassed that our vet...AFTER HOURS...was having to deal with this. As a point of reference, "Dosage for nerve pain...The usual dose to treat nerve pain in adults is 900mg to 3,600mg a day, split into 3 doses." The prescription was for 300 mg...much lower than was the dosage is for humans. For her to question a doctor is inexcusable and uncalled for.I have been a loyal customer of Walgreens for over 15 years. Not only of the pharmacy but weekly trips for other times in the store. I have heard MANY complaints lately of the pharmacy but I originally decided to stay because the other staff members have always been so nice After seeing how Reine has treated other clients (I previously witnessed her rudeness to an elderly couple one day), myself, and my veterinarian, I am pulling EVERY prescription and will no longer step foot in the 9705 Jefferson Highway Store or any Walgreens again. I am also going to share my experience with others in the community because there seems to be a general consensus that there are issues in the management of the pharmacy. I will be supporting our local pharmacies since "Big business" has overshadowed local customer service. Christine Perniciaro
