This was a fun, clean, safe, RV resort. The lazy river, adult & family swimming pools were well maintained. We were camping with family on a double RV spot with plenty of room cement. The only drawbacks - we happened to be in site 124 which was super close to a highway ramp with lots of Jake break noise & random trash along the edges of the park. A maintenance person could walk around, pick it up and make this a better environment. And Wi-Fi was very spotty - but to be clear, the entire area outside the park had poor WiFi and cell service. Another great thing was the SECURITY - code to get in the park after office hours and you cannot get in the exit or your tires will be punctured. It was about 55 minutes from downtown New Orleans. Perfect!! The nearby town of Hammond has everything you want from the excellent upscale Buddies Bar & Grille restaurant to several coffee shops and other stores

Its a very well laid out clean park with a lot of amenities and entertainment. There is a small fitness center with all the necessities, an arcade, gift shop, sand volleyball court, putt putt golf,etc... It's a great experience for kids and adults with several adult areas. Lake and ponds are very pretty.

Great campground. A little noisy if you are on the side by the highway. Great in and out. Very safe. Lots of amenities. Our 2-camper spot was so fun!Nearby activities: Definitely go to Hammond for Buddies Bar & Grill. Upscale restaurant with our server Jade ! Also go to Punchaluta and visit Tula’s for some yummy smash burgers!

This is a nice resort type RV location. It has numerous amenities and should score very high. We stayed there a couple of times this past month. The first time was during the week and I would give it 4*. The reason for the one star drop is the picnic tables are in very bad shape on some sites. Our second stay was a Friday and Saturday. They have an 11 pm to 8 am quiet hours and we had to listen to basketball until 10:45 pm. The next day 4-6 sites invited about 40 guests. All extra parking was taken and they used many amenities. They started playing fairly loud music and with this many people gathered on 2 sites, it was very loud. I don’t know their guest policy, but this was horrible. We were blessed to catch Doug (great employee) who helped us move to another part of the camp away from all of the noise. Their signs stress security, but the way they let a large number of people enter who weren’t staying there shows they aren’t serious. Beware and especially on the weekends. They should change quiet hours to 9 pm to 8 am and limit guests to 2-4 per site.

We stayed at Reunion Lake RV Resort for 5 nights in May 2022 and had a good time but there is definitely room for improvement. Cleanliness • We checked in on Memorial Day so the park had been very crowded over the weekend. We thought this was why the bathrooms were not clean and there was dog poop all over the resort, but it did not change in the time we were there. • The bathrooms were obviously very nice when the place was built – individual rooms with toilet, sink and shower - tile walls, etc. They are cleaned daily in the mornings, but it is a very superficial clean as the shower curtains are filthy and there is grime around the edges. • Bathrooms were out of toilet paper and paper towels by afternoon and did not appear to be restocked during the day. Facilities • The concrete pad sites are level and clean. • The buddy sites were well-sized for 2 travel trailers. • The triple sites were arranged in a circle with the gathering space in the middle. It looked to be very tight with 3 large units parked there. • There is a manicured patch of grass between each site. • The new cottages are adorable and people staying there said they are nice inside. • There are only 3 dog poop stations in the entire resort and none of them had bags and all were overflowing with waste that needed to be emptied. The dog park had as much poop as grass and was disgusting. I would not want a site next to it! On our 3rd day, we asked in the office if someone could stock the bags and empty the trash cans, but it was never done. • There are no trash cans around the resort except at the pool. • The mini golf was free and nicely maintained. • Water in shower gets cold in the middle of showering and you have to turn it off and back on again. I thought maybe they were on a timer to make everyone take a shorter shower, but the timing was not consistent. Crowds • It was fairly quiet during the week but started filling up on Thursday and was packed by Friday evening. • There was a lot of traffic on Thursday and Friday as everyone was arriving. • Kids have a blast there, but many are running around and speeding in golf carts unattended. • The lazy river was great, but locals told us it is extremely crowded on the weekends. • Kids run through the lazy river and jump into it splashing, sometimes landing on top of adults. An adult got hit with a football one afternoon. No one is monitoring it or enforcing the rule that you must be in a tube. Locals said that kids used to play on the equipment in the lake but it was not replaced after hurricane damage, so they play in the lazy river now. • It seems as though a lot of locals come and hang out for the day. Perhaps they have friends staying at the resort, but it does add to the crowds. Would we go back? Probably so, with reduced expectations, and only during the week and/or off-season due to the crowds.

This park could be fabulous. We’ve stayed at Sun resorts all over the country. This one lacks attention from the staff. The maintenance crew was virtually invisible and it shows. I’m attaching a picture of a beer can that sat on the entrance sign from the day we got there until today when we left. We were there for 5 weeks. How many times did a staff member pass this without taking the initiative to stop. Do better. Be better. Your resort could be great.

They charged for everything. The site was advertised at $47 per night but ended up at $95 with all the fees. After picking the site number they charged $29 per night to guarantee that site. Average food, service and cleanliness for high cost. Sad. The previous owners did much better. This place is now all about $$$$$.We reserved some days after New Years with our grand kids. We asked specifically if the food and rec services would be open. They said absolutely and frankly we were surprised. Not only is nothing open. The place has no staff. We’ve been coming for years. Since Sun Outdoors took over, it’s gone way downhill and expensive. Too bad. We will look for other options. Others have said the same.

Great RV park!! A lot of parks have 'resort' in their title...this one in my opinion is and earns it. Check in was super easy, park is very clean. The RV sites were spacious and level. It was great to have mini-golf and other activities for kids. We were only there for one night, but I would recommend this to anyone passing through the area. Saw they had a pool and beach area...but we visited when it was chilly (November), we had no desire to go! :) It has a gas station located right out the front of the park (not affiliated) which made it very convenient! Location was perfect, not too far off the highway (never heard any noise).

Immaculate condition. The place was spotless. The staff was friendly. The amenities were insanely over the top cool. We came during October & every weekend was Halloween! Kids (and adults) had a blast. If your visiting New Orleans, it's a bit out of the way but TRUST ME worth it. We actually moved from a "closer" resort. Wish we would have went here 1st.I can't say enough of highly I think of this place. We stayed an extra month! Will look for more of the Sun Outdoors brand on our travels for sure. A+!

We stayed here in a RV for a week in November over Veterans Day weekend and had a get time. The place is clean, the staff is great. They had several events planned and live music. So much to do with a heated pool and hot tub, pickle ball, mini golf, shuffle board, plus more.Club house in the evenings was a great way to meet some of the other RVs.We will definitely be back.

The internet is great, cable not so great will definitely be back! My only gripe is the golf carts all over the place its kinda hard to just walk around the resortSafety: Be careful. The golf carts are all over the place.

This is a great place to go. Manager was very nice and took care of our needs. Would give it 5 stars on everything, but cabin bathroom floor was not clean and had a piece of molding coming off an upper cabinet. Two of the barstools seats were not attached. Door to porch kept sticking hard to open and shut. However, a lot of extra features in the kitchen and outside porch table set were very nice. Also we came during the week so we had to ask for music on the lazy river everyday. I think the music should be turned on when the gates to the lazy river are opened. Loved our stay and we will go back.Walkability: I think the walkway from the cabins should go all the way to the lazy river. We had to cut through campsite to get into that area.Noteworthy details: The landscape and pools were very nice and clean.
