This stay was memorable for all of the wrong reasons. When I first arrived, I inspected the room and was disgusted. There was so much hair on the bathroom floor, soap scum in the shower stall, chips on the floor and something spilled on the side of the dresser/ television stand. I reported this to the front desk staff, who allowed us to change rooms. The new room was better with regards to less hair in the bathroom. There was a small shard of glass my the window, only one bed had a duvet, and there appeared to be a leak under the bathroom sink (or perhaps a puddle from a repair). After getting in so late, my son and I just wanted some rest. The next day, there was a horrible odor in the hallway like seawater and trash. Needless to say I couldn't wait to leave your establishment. I reported all of my findings to the front desk. The only bright spot to our stay was the furnishings of the fitness center and proximity to the wedding we were attending. We stayed 2 nights and I wasn't able to sleep either night. This will be my last stay at this Best Western or possibly any Best Western.

Had the pleasure of staying at the Best Western Plus while in Ruston for my daughter's three day orientation at La Tech. The staff was very friendly, the room and bathroom was nice and clean and the breakfast was great. This will be my place to stay when I go to Ruston to visit my daughter and it's very close to the college as well. Great job guys!!

Rooms & hotel was clean. All the staff was friendly. We didn't have any trouble. The bed was pretty comfortable, a little firm for my liking but not terribly. My husband said that the breakfast was good. Sausage patties, Biscuits & Gravy, Bagels, Waffles. I slept through it. Check out was at 11 am. ? We paid a pretty penny, but at least it was worth it overall due to cleanliness.
Safety: Seemed to be in a safe part of town.
Food & drinks: There is a Mexican food restaurant (El Jarrito) in the same parking lot of the hotel. There is a McAlisters, McDonalds & Walmart right across the freeway. There is also a Chick-fil-a , Cane's & Whataburger on the other side or the freeway, maybe half a mile from the hotel.

If we could add more stars we would! The service was amazing! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast had great options and even fun waffle cookers with best western logo. I loved walking down there and having the area having a lot of seating options and the TV not being so loud. The rooms were clean and you can tell these people go above and beyond and take their time on the rooms and really care about our stay. Even though the rooms were full the place was still quiet and peaceful. We also loved that there was a place to refill our water bottles right by the bathrooms. We highly recommend this place for families!

After checking noticed that there were no bath towels in the room and not toilet paper except for the very small amount on the one roll. Went to the front desk to request the towels and toilet paper and the clerk sat there looking for some information and did not even look up to acknowledge that we were standing there. If she had said that she was assisting another customer and would be with us shortly that would have been great. I finally had to say something and she got up and went and got one (1) towel and gave it to me. This towel was old and frayed. When I mentioned to her that my wife was with me, and we needed more than one towel she went back into the laundry room and came back out with another towel. When I mentioned this the next morning to another clerk he advised that for some reason the hotel is short on towels and it has been that way for over a year. Will not be staying at any other Best Westerns.

Dairy Queen in Stafford's real nice. The food is the same every morning but other than that it's a great location and service is great

It was ok, but this is not a $150 a night hotel for sure. The shower was not clean, and the shower floor was slippery from something on it. Would not stay here again, for the price there are much better options within 30 minutes.
Rooms: The room looked nice but the shower was not clean and the shower head was not set firm in the wall.

The lobby of the motel is gorgeous! We stayed here last year and we were very satisfied. We stayed again this year passing thru. The gal at the desk was very nice. The first room we got checked into, my husband immediately had to use the toilet….and it did not flush! So while he went back down to the desk, I was looking, and the floor by the refrigerator was so sticky, my shoe was sticking. The TV and the mirror was so smeared, the nightstand had something on it, the headboard was dirty, and the floor needed vacuuming. So we changed rooms. The janitor came in to fix the toilet and he was very nice also. We got to the next room. It looked better. Until we checked the toilet. Some man used the toilet obviously, and they did not raise the lid to clean it or inside the bowl! Gross. Again, we told the girl at the desk, and she apologized and was very nice. We went to eat and when we came back, it was all nice and clean. But….it should have been done the first time. Update: also…..no hairdryer in the room! And coffee maker not working correctly!

This hotel should get 4 stars- it's clean, quiet even though it's next to a freeway, it's new. ... but when they installed the EV chargers, , they throttled the charge rate back to 12 amps. Normal is 50-80 amps, people. That takes 26 hours to charge a car! But by doing this they can advertise that they have EV charging. Technically, they do. But what a crappy trick. I tried both (Tesla style) NACS plugs, same result, so it's not the EVSE. It was set up that way. Shame on them.

Patrina at the front desk went over and beyond to help me with my stay. I’ve stayed here numerous of times and never had a complaint. Very spacious room, great breakfast, wonderful to have her on staff and check in/check out was easy.
