“The River House at Crevasse 22 is a hidden gem in St. Bernard Parish. It is located "down the road", and it showcases some great art both inside and outside. It is free to visit, and they had refreshments inside for anyone visiting. The house is three stories. The first story has a few different rooms with art throughout. This is also where the kitchen is located with tea, lemonade, and water. On the day we went, there was also fresh fruit and donut holes. The second story has a room filled with duck decoys, and the whole third story is an observation deck with seating all the way around. There are also a couple of informational videos playing in different rooms. Outside there are several different art pieces in the yard plus a walking trail through the woods where you can get a peaceful look at nature and hopefully a few birds.”
