This store has gone down hill. Rude employees always rolling their eyes & don't want to be bothered. Always hear the employees talking about customers & other employees. Not a professional atmosphere. Store always a mess.

Got mostly what I needed. A lot of the items on sale we're out of stock but that's how they like to play the game. 6 people working but only one cashier and we had 7 people in line waiting to check out. Took almost 10 minutes and the poor girl calling out several times before she got assistance.

The only thing this Dollar General has going for it is that it's the last dollar store (location-wise) in lower St. Bernard Parish - oh, and it stays open till 11pm. Otherwise, it's just the equivalent of a white trap house . . . they don't even carry floss. Once it sounded like customers were about to fist fight, but turns out it was just the employees. Also, it's customary to go in bearfoot. Enjoy the ride.
