DISTRICT MERCANTILE is a must-visit boutique store in St. Francisville. It is a nice little shop with a great mixture of antiques and new merchandise. They have everything from old-fashioned toys, fashion, and records to candy, ornaments, and household items. The staff is always polite, friendly, and willing to help. It is a great store for gift-giving or finding something for oneself.

    A little over priced for me. That's only my opinion though. That's the only reason I gave it four stars. I would highly recommend. It's absolutely magnificent. It has very unique things in it.

    Cute throwback general store. Prices a bit high....no penny candy here. I guess they are playing to tourist clientele rather than village folk.

    Love it!! Some things are pricey, but they're not as pricey as some of the other boutiques and shops in town.
