“There are only 2 grocery stores in the parish, along with 2 Dollar Generals and several convenience stores. Audubon Market is the most upscale with by far the widest selection of brands, especially of beer and booze. A bit pricier than the other grocery, St. Francisville Market, which have the same owners. But the latter takes food stamps, the former does not.Audubon Market had been hit with many shortages of goods since Covid but so has everywhere else so I guess that's a wash. And the staff are friendly and know me, so it's as enjoyable as shopping can be for a guy.”
“Best place to go for fresh catfish! Better get there early, they sell out quickly! It's always worth the drive from South Baton Rouge! Great people, service, and price!”
