I played here a year or so ago at the urging of some friends. Its a great place and worth the drive from Baton Rouge. If it reopens I would recommend it to anyone in the area.

The golf course at the Bluffs is closed, because the person who owns the course and the clubhouse, does not want to keep it up. What a shame it was a nice course and Clubhouse.

The course is beautiful and I was excited to spend my Saturday off here. The club house and staff need help. While I understand the restaurant closing, the clubhouse had run out of all snacks except a snickers and skittles. The staff were inattentive at best. I watched another couple check out for a round. The receptionist then turned to me to check me out while the first customers obviously still wanted help. After I pointed it out she went back to them. They had never been here before and didn’t know where carts were or food. The clerk gave basic 2-3 word answers with no eye contact and stated that the restaurant was closed and gave no other information about food. I asked why they ran out of snacks early on a Saturday and she just said we never really had any. When asked where the closest food place was she was uninformative and curt.I would like the course to do well because it’s beautiful. But if you want it to do so you need to train your staff to be friendlier and provide adequate customer service so that new customers understand the course and options. If you don’t have food, make sure the staff know to give options for where customers can get it.Edit: after playing, the course also needs attention as well.

Fairways were not cut and all bunkers were terrible. Seems like it was a good course at one time but the course we played was poorly maintained. It’s a shame. Don’t waste your time and money.

Awesome course layout, beautiful views, all at a reasonable price. Everyone is very nice from staff to the members. The food was excellent, had the club sandwich and sweet potato fries and it was only $9. This place is a treasure.

Is Clyde Dubois still managing partner? He owes money to a moving company that relocated him to Florida-stuck this small family owned business for 10,500.00

Definitely one of the best golf experiences you can have in the Baton Rouge area, but that's a fairly low bar these days. Staff was great, course was mostly in very good condition; greens were not flawless for sure but vastly better than the best BREC has to offer. Other reviewers have mentioned the jarring cart paths in places, and I can confirm that they can be quite rough in more than a few spots—golfers with false teeth would be advised to keep their mouths closed to avoid loosing any dental hardware. Overall, though, a really good day of golf at The Bluffs.

To start, we are home owners here. We literally pay to keep this place open with our HOA dues that we don't have a say so in because this place can't support itself otherwise. Tried to order two hamburgers for pickup: After arriving at the time we were told on the phone, I stood for 15 minutes without anyone asking what I'm doing. I looked, and felt, like an idiot while the staff catered to others despite me being there first. I literally had to step aside, several times, so staff could let others order?!? After the 15 minutes, I was asked what I needed. I let them know I was there to pick up my order. I was asked to wait 2 more minutes as it still wasn't done. 15 minutes later I was, again, asked what my order was. I told them, again, and they vowed to check. I stood for 3 more minutes watching the staff take care of others (as before) instead of myself. At this point, my time was more valuable than the burgers, so I left. I'm guessing that all of the drunk parents that were letting their wild children run all over were more important to serve than I was. Lesson learned. Silver lining is that had I waited long enough to get my two hamburgers, I'd probably had gotten food poisoning from a cook that would have tried to hurry my order. It wouldn't have been the first time I had food poisoning shortly after eating here. Steer clear of their chicken wings.

One of my favorite courses. Challenging yet rewarding.

One of the best tracts I’ve played in the United States. All 3 par 5s are phenomenal. #4 and #17 are great par 3s with many unique par 4s in the mix. The staff was great. I was lucky to catch a mid week round. Was told it’s busy on the weekends but I’d go back and play this course again even if it was packed.

Unbelievable. When ordering from this restaurant, I requested that my chicken tenders be shaped like the crewmate from the hit game Among Us by Innersloth Productions, but they said they couldnt provide. I then asked instead if my salad could be shaped like the Among Us guy, a sussy salad if you will, but once again, they said they couldnt do it. I am disgusted. I am never coming to this establishment again. 0 stars.
