Be sure to strike up a conversation with Denver, Derrick, or Lauren -- they can tell you all about their wonderful and unique wares. Also, if they are having a special event (featuring other local artisans and vendors), it is always worth checking out. Such a fun, relaxing, and welcoming place.”
“I can’t say enough lovely things about Betsy Malone, her team members, and her lovely antique store. I often do not need help regarding sales, but she was never far to answer questions without making me feel pressured.
I don’t often know what I want when shopping antiques, but I know it when I see it! I depleted her of inventory, as she had the most beautiful and fairly priced tables, chests, vanities, and outdoor furniture and other items that she prices so fairly, there is no need to negotiate.
She is fabulous, and I give her a twenty star ⭐️ review.
Photos of the furniture to follow in a few weeks. I decorated half of our home in New Orleans with her amazing pieces, paintings, etc. Definitely one of my favorites if I ever manage to escape the house!
Antiques on Gladstone, and owner Betsy Malone, are one of my favorite things about Shreveport. My only regret is that I didn’t shop her store sooner! Literally next door to Byrd High.

“Visiting Shreveport for the first time has been such a lovely experience, but it wasn't until today that I really felt the full weight of natural charm and hospitality this town has to offer because of my time spent in Kings' Antiques this afternoon.The stop-in was immediately off on the right foot, as the ever-helpful associate, Mary, was so incredibly kind to me first thing when I walked through the door. She didn't hesitate to greet me and give me a rundown of the floor layout, and when I told her I had never been to Shreveport before, she went the extra mile and informed me of the building's historical significance as well! I was so impressed with her attentiveness and knowledgeable advice.The mall itself was immaculately organized and boasts a wide array of vendors to peruse. Unlike other experiences I've had shopping in antique businesses like Kings', the entire establishment was well-lit, well-organized, and well-stocked. I was hard-pressed to find an item I wanted that wasn't reasonably marked.Great staff, great selection, great prices. I couldn't have asked for a better first time at Kings', and will be visiting whenever I am passing through Shreveport again.Thank you to all the staff that assisted me today!”
