After Hertz left us stranded, with no options, even though we had a reservation through them, Doris @ Avis in the Shreveport Airport, really helped us out, and found a car for us for a one-way trip to the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. A is will be at the top of my list the next time I need to rent a car.

The website allowed me to book a reservation but when I arrived, I was told that all the cars were already booked out. Advance notice would have saved time, effort, and fuel

I signed up for the Avis rewards program after making the reservation. When I arrived at the airport, they had the key and car all ready for me. I had the car before my bag even made it off the plane! Return was quick and easy. Overall, a much better experience than I expected based on the reviews.
