Attention to the Germans!We booked a car, paid for it and wanted to pick it up on time.The car was not available, we were told this half-heartedly and then asked if there was anything else they could do for us. When we then said we wanted a car, the employees simply served the next customers and ignored us from then on. After an hour we left without getting any information, confirmation or anything like that.Do yourself a favor and go to Enterprise! We went there, got a car straight away, were treated very kindly and even paid less than at Hertz!A week later we still haven't received any information from Hertz and have been stuck with the costs so far!

Hertz is horrible for 2 days I’ve tried to call multiple times and all I get is the phone ringing and ringing with no answering machine to even take a message which is totally unacceptable what they want us to do drive to the location just to talk to them no way I was at working trying to call them 30 minutes straight with no answer as I was headed to location this is very sad

Reserved a vehicle on the websiteCalled to confirm and arrange for service pick up. The receptionist was rude about the situation. “I cannot book a last minute vehicle. What if someone who has booked two weeks out needs the vehicle and i give it to you!” I can let you know in 6 hours.How do these companies not know what is available and what is reserved?Cancel!!

HORRIBLE car rental experience!! Completely unprofessional place, not sure how they stay in business. Would give ZERO stars if possible. Car reeked of cigarette smoke when picked it up, asked if had another car said no all they had. I hated driving car because not a smoker and neither is anyone in my family. When turned car in they charged me $275 saying it smelled like smoke or for cleaning, I have no idea exactly what for-- ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? I turned the car in in same condition I received it. This was after charging my credit card an additional $125 without any explanation a week after returning it. Called and talked to manager at location when 1st found out about the smoking smell /cleaning charge (they never sent me email when turning in rental about anything), she said they would get it taken care of, I assumed all was done. Got bill in mail from Hertz for the $275 charge 3 weeks later, they told me contact local Hertz, have called and left over 30 messages for manager at Youree Drive location who has STILL not returned my call. Got in touch with Bossier Hertz location (because Youree Dr would not return my call) and they told me that I have to take it up with Hertz billing dept. This is also after renting from same place (Youree Drive) in Feb 2023 and the rental car reeked of marijuana smell so bad that had to take it back in and tell them. I tried to get name of general manager or owner of the Youree Drive Hertz and they would not give it to me. I will NEVER do business with this Youree Drive location again and will also tell everyone the same to avoid this place at all costs. WORST RENTAL EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!! I will be contacting the BBB and also possibly an attorney!!

If I could give this location 0 stars, I would. Made a reservation on the Hertz website (NOT a third party site for which I would understand lack of insight into available inventory) after having car issues on a Sunday. Got confirmation that day for an 8am booking on Monday morning. Took an uber across town and arrived at 8:15 only to be told by some rude, dismissive, unempathetic employees that they didn't have our class vehicle, but that I could pay to upgrade to the next class up for an absurd additional daily price. I was told that this upgrade practice is no longer complimentary, despite the fact that I have been offered this multiple times in the past when the car class I booked (and was CONFIRMED) wasnt available at time of pick up. When I found the same upgraded class of the car that they offered me on Hertz's website (for waaaayyy cheaper than i was quoted), I was given permission in office to book at that price to secure the car they had available. They entered my information into the system but told me I had to wait 1 hour before I could actually secure the rental. We walked to a nearby store to wait. During that time, I called the store again to confirm that there were no issues with the reservation and was assured that we were all set. 10 minutes later (about 40 minutes into us waiting the additional hour to pick up the car for the new booking), I received a call from the same associate saying that the manager had arrived and even though the car was there, she was now saying that the car was unavailable. We walked back over to speak with the manager, and she all but confirmed that they had a car available, but that we could not have it. We were forced to leave empty handed. This location is terrible. The employees don't know anything and cant answer basic questions, and they are poor representatives for the company and for this farce of an office. I was told misinformation at every turn, and I cannot believe businesses are allowed to practice in this way. We wasted hours of our work day and could have easily pivoted to book at a competing company the day before if we had just been given the courtesy of advanced notice about the lack of car availability. Further, Hertz's website needs to actually reflect in real time what they have in their own inventory.

I bought a soda and stood in line. Before I could say a word the attendant told me that they don't have any more cars. Without a reservation number she told me that everything was overbooked and that unless I had a major credit card none of the places in the airport would have been to me. Is five other people came after me and got their reservations I called my lawyer. The lady is racist and I'm ethnic.

This place should be out of business. Terrible customer service. Called me the day before saying “we won’t have a car for your reservation”. Magically, they found one and harassed me to come pick it up several times. Showed up and they had to “do an oil change”, then it was “on hold”. Spent 2 hours waiting watching the employees sit on their phones. I asked to cancel and their response was, “you’re going to need to call”. I finally gave up and left to get a car at a different place which took 5 minutes. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!

Received an Enclave via my insurance company. Insurance was supposed to cover a portion but still was charged 1300$ for a car with no gas, tire going flat, dirty with food, and cracked windshield. Brought car back and was not given another car. Treated rudely. No receipt given so don’t know what I was charged for during the time I had the vehicle. Will never ever use hertz again because it’s a faceless company that does not value costumer service. Should have stayed bankrupt.The response from hertz was some generic message that they send to everyone. Paid 1300+ and 400$ for a broken dirty suv. Rude service. Unable to speak on the phone to a human. Wish there was a SIXT in the area because they value customers way more than this failing corporation!Furthermore, my father is a gold member with hertz and his svu also had a cracked wind shield and smelt like a dead body.I am going to make sure all the professionals in the area I know never every use this horrible car rental company!!!

After having a Terrible experience at Enterprise on Shreveport-Barksdale Hwy, my husband contacted Hertz Rental on Youree Drive. They promised us a car the next day. When we arrived the next day, we were greeted with a smile and the lady was Very helpful!! She made sure our car was cleaned and ready on time. We Love the service at Hertz on Youree and are enjoying the car. We will make this our car rental “go to” place from now on. We Highly recommend Hertz Rental on Youree!!

Had some issue with the car. I believe they have known about the issue and let it go out anyway. They normally don't have someone to pick you up or drop off. Probably will try another company for my next rental

Customer service was good but not excellent. Car smelled of cigarettes. Low cleaning staff. Had to wait a bit for the rental along with others.

Worst car rental experience - car not available for pick up. When I did get in they said they had to change the oil and it would take 15 minutes. 2 hours later and they still aren't done - go back and they said they still needed to change the oil and clean the car. We lost 3 hours total

This was my first experience renting from Hertz. I had a great experience. Customer service was excellent. I will definitely rent from Hertz again.
