The room really stunk when we opened the door. And this has to be the noisiest location ever. The walls actually shake from the Highway traffic. The room amenities were very good. Great shower and I came to breakfast late but the lady still served it to me which was real nice.Nearby activities: Gambling close by. Very nice.Food & drinks: The breakfast was wonderful. Very good cooking. Super nice staff

I just wanted to take time to leave some recognition for front desk evening staff at this location. My hope is that their boss/administration sees this. 11/2-11/3 I was dealing with a car accident while traveling through downtown and needed to stay for 2 nights and get things sorted out. Both nights, Tajanae & Marcus were there. I was really upset and stressed out and these two were some of the kindest strangers I’ve ever dealt with. They checked on me constantly, they asked if me I was okay, offered snacks and water, just more than they needed to do. They always had smiles on their faces, too. I was happy & relieved to see them working night 2 for their kindness alone. Great front desk/customer service given. Thank you, two.Noteworthy details: See comment about staff.

Rm 134 we have no complaints really. The door didn’t shut correctly as if someone tried to break into the door recently. Which made us feel unsafe. And they don’t have a microwave in the room which is weird. Most hotels have a coffee maker, fridge, and microwave. I know from speaking to the night clerk microwaves are in the works. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good sausage links are the best.

I am really enjoying my stay. The best is super comfy. The bath is nice with nice faucet/fixtures and I really like the shower. Great selection of channels and it is close to festivals and the casinos and other attractions. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I like it very much and will stay here again when I come back.Walkability: Festivals are a block away.

Let me tell you about this hotel.....It is everything that you expect from a Holiday Inn Express...no issues whatsoever.Here is the unexpected, we were traveling to FL for vacation and stopped here. When we got ready to leave our BRAND NEW TRUCK with 790 miles on it would not start or power up. We called the local dealers and they would not get to it for 5-7 days. I called my dealer in TX and he said he would bring me a new vehicle and take mine back. While we were talking to friends about the situation in the lobby, I went and asked the front desk if we could get back in our room, if it had not been cleaned yet and do a late checkout....They said yes and 2:00pm was as late as they could go. I told them I appreciated it and after that we would wait in the lobby for the approximate 4:00-5:00 pm arrival of the new vehicle....A few mins later they said we could not stay until 2:00...that we could stay as long as needed and if we needed to stay another night they would take care of it....We told them we appreciated that but we didn't want them to get into any trouble. They advised us that they had spoken to the general manager and was told to do whatever needed to be done to keep us comfortable. WOW!!!!A special acknowledgement for the girls at the front desk that took care of us and the situation...Tajanae Riggins, Brionna Thedford, Cecelia Giles....They even recommended an outstanding and reasonable restaurant for lunch.THANK YOU LADIES!!!!!Also would like to say THANK YOU to the General Manager, sorry I didn't get your name. We appreciate your understanding. You and your team helped make a potentially stressful situation manageable for us!!!This is customer service at it's best.

Just recently stayed wasn't informed when checked in that the city cuts water off from 11 to 5 am so when my spouse and I got in that night from standing in 105 degrees of weather in a concert we was expecting water...also half the lights did not work in our room also half the building had a odd smell like mold and something else not sure what it was to be honest ! But I wouldn't stay again.

Do not stay here. First room had no hot water in shower and both tv’s didn’t work. Moved to a new room. Not a suite. Baby crawled on the floor and knees and hands turned black. Room smells of mold and wallpaper is peeling. They should try cleaning the pool. Room and elevators are disgusting. Who doesn’t put microwaves in rooms! Apparently only one employee on at night. Breakfast was okay. Prices keep going up but the products keep going down.

This was my second stay at this hotel. I booked it by error! Nevertheless, When we arrived the hotel clerk sent me to the very same room that he sent me to in April. It was far in the back around a corner kinda like in the movie "The Shining" very spooky, I don't understand why I was sent there, is that a room that they offer to a person of a certain ethnicity? I told him and I was uncomfortable with the room, he placed me on the Sixth floor which was better and gave us breakfast vouchers.. I will not be staying there anymore.. sorry!

Our room was nothing like we have ever stayed in before with Holiday Inns. It was open upon arrival. Someone had left the deadbolt out so the door would not close. I felt unsafe entering the room. Elevator was not working had to use one at the end of the hotel. Walked up the ramp almost fell because of a very huge dip in the floor that was deep. Ice maker on our floor did no work. Breakfast was not good. Pancake machine was broken no place to get ice and tea or a cold drink. There was no mat to step on when you got out of the shower. Had to use a towel. Very poor stay, people were friendly that we interacted with. Will not stay there again. If the next stay at a Holiday Inn is this bad you have lost my business.

Originally stayed in room 401 and then 507. Room 401 has a leak in the ceiling. The bed was wet. Then moved to 507. Better but could definitely tell there were previous leak issues on the drywall. I recommend checking out the leak.

One night stay? The breakfast spread was very good and a Great Variety of Food to Choose From.Necessary amenities in our Room and the Location is Good. However the eateries/restaurants were still on the Covid Hours?

The hotel itself is in need of some repair but the breakfast and staff make up for it!!Ebony is a very beautiful lady inside and out!She was beyond accommodating!!Thank you so much for making our stay so great!!!

Not a terrible place to lay your head for a night. We checked in at 330 pm and our room wasn't ready. Bathroom smelled like bug spray, one of the lamps didn't work, bed room needed a better cleaning.

HORRIBLE!!!!!!!I made my reservation online two hours before arriving. Upon arrival, the front desk was yelling at customers that they were out of rooms. He said since I was a silver member, he would try to find me one...he was CALLING ROOMS to see who was in there. What??? Eventually he found me a room (and announced the room number several times aloud...I'm a woman traveling alone). The room was dirty and the door didn't even seal properly. The icing on the cake is when I got a phone call at 11:45pm to the room phone telling me the room was already reserved and they'd be calling me back. Another call came through at 12:10 asking who exactly I was and saying the room was double booked. I did not sleep a lick waiting to hear back or have someone pound on my poorly installed door. Horrible experience. 100% will not stay holiday inn express again because of this. Oh, and the elevator was broken when I visited in 2021 and 2022 and is still broken in 2023.

Several cars were broken into over the week - meh. Room was spotless on arrival. Weekly service was a little off; trash was not taken out, towels were just left on a small counter at the entry, and bedding was not made. Staff were great.Highway outside the windows made for a noisy stay. On arrival, the room was perfect. During the stay, crew that came in was less than so; did not refill soaps, did not take the trash out, left towels on the living room counter and did not change any linens when the sign was left of the door. Breakfast was good and the desk staff was very nice. Cost was bumped up $300 from the reserved rate for IHG members.
