“To be honest we absolutely loved the place and the people that worked there. It is sooooo charming and alot of history. However I believe it is really understaffed which reflects when you are going to a boutique style stay. Never came and tidied up the room while we were there for 4 days and very rarely was someone at the front desk or bar area. However the people that were there working were having to do everything from check you in to valet to making drinks and asking questions and typically it was one person. They were great though. But all in all I would recommend it as it is a really neat place!”

“Great experience. Didnt really interact with the staff much but the front desk people were friendly and helpful at check in/out. The restraunt staff were super attentive and friendly. Rooms were spacious and well arranged. Bathrooms were comfortable. Only complaint is the pillows. I hate the pillows that Hilton hotels use.”

“The rooms at this hotel in Shreveport are comfortable and well-maintained. The service is excellent, and the location is highly convenient, situated directly across from Shriners and LSU Ochsner. The hotel also offers discounts for Shriners patients, which is greatly appreciated.
My only concern is that the manager frequently parks a blue vehicle under the awning, obstructing the area. This space should be reserved exclusively for short-term pick-up and drop-off, rather than long-term parking. As a frequent guest with a child who has a disability and requires a wheelchair, I often visit for appointments at Shriners, and this recurring issue with the blue Blazer blocking the loading and unloading zone creates unnecessary challenges. I hope corporate management will review this feedback and implement appropriate measures to address it.”

“Sleep Inn offered a great stay! The staff was very friendly, the indoor pool was a nice bonus, and the hot breakfast hit the spot. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Just be aware—there’s a $150 deposit if you book through a third party. Still a solid choice!”

“I love going there in Shreveport. They need room service again and get the elevator in the casino working. I am handicapped and moving from one floor to the other is hard. I can't use the escalator, I am using a walker.”

“Great customer service and friendly staff. The rooms are really nice, clean, spacious and up to date. There's plenty of parking in the bright well lit parking lot. It's safe to walk alone to your vehicle. The continental breakfast was delicious. I rated it 4 stars because the bar was never opened so we went to Long Horns for drinks???. The staff stated there was no bartender?”

“Pouring rain & great, friendly service came together in one place!

Food and drinks: There is a Texas Roadhouse within easy walking distance if it’s not raining!”

“Right off the highway. We have stayed here on 12 occasions. The rooms are always clean. The employees are always polite. I left a pillow once. I called them and told them I left it. I told them I would be back in 3 days and asked if they could hold it. Not only did they hold it, they washed it for me, with their laundry. They had it waiting for me when I arrived! This is the best if all Motel 6 motels I've stayed in and that is quite a few!”

“I had a brief visit here as I passed through on a business trip. Housekeeping was sub par, however the service was second to none. Josetta went above in beyond in everything I asked of her and the superstar of the crew is Audrey. Five stars from these alone. Excellent leadership is evident there through Kendra”
