I've been at LSUS for a long time now and unfortunately, the bookstore before the current one was way better. It was bigger, more merchandise, textbooks were actually in view. I wish they had a better shirt selection.

The lady in the back was very rude. As she was looking for my order she was picking up other books (that people pay a ton for) and dropping them on the floor. I get that there were a ton of orders and she probably was very busy, but I found it unpleasant.

Can’t control if a student is sick. Should be some type of grace, but no they rather go ahead and charge you $300+ even if you have the book. Having to go on campus sick just to return it. Mailing it in, it wouldn’t be on time anyways. Poor way to treat customers.

I am incredibly disappointed and frustrated by the level of service received from the bookstore. The bookstore stopped taking online orders graduation regalia at the end of November, a deadline that was NEVER communicated via email to the students. They also refuse to accept orders over the phone. You're screwed unless you live locally, which eliminates a large portion of their online student population.

Farewell faithful lsus bookstore! Your convenience will be sorely missed! I just wish I didn't have to always leave my backpack outside in a cubbyhole.

As a distance learner getting my Masters at LSUS I have had nothing but horrible experiences ordering from this bookstore. They list items as being in stock when they aren't and their system will allow you to order books they don't have. When books aren't in stock that you order online they don't bother to call and tell you they just ship a partial order or nothing then you don't have books for your class. When I called to check the status of my orders I was told the first time that they had been bought out and were no longer filling online orders even though I received an order confirmation and no one called to tell me otherwise. The second time the guy just kept going on about how they had a lot of orders to fill and how neither of my books were in stock that their online system had permitted me to order. It had been two weeks since my order confirmation and my class was about to start. Save the hassle and order your books elsewhere even if they cost more.
