I could have had a better experience with PODS. The pricing is not competitive. I should have done more research. I was not aware of all of the services that they offered. The representative was not very helpful at all with that. I will not recommend PODS to anyone that I know.

The company is good for storage in your driveway but that is about it. Moving out of state dont recommend. I had a problem with my lock and keys. Received my pod in Louisiana, unable to open it. My entire house in it. So if you have any concerns, good luck there is no communication between departments. They only received a 3star from me is because customer service representatives went above and beyond to help me.

I recently purchased a pod in order to move from Louisiana to Tampa FL for school. Everyone’s phone number registers on their caller I.d. and the person who I talked to repeated it multiple times. I assumed that everything would be fine, and I would receive a call during the scheduled delivery time. Apparently the number was put in incorrectly, and I never received any calls. The pod never came in during the scheduled time, and I assumed that they were late. 30 minutes after the delivery time, I was sent an email In which they informed me that that they changed my delivery date of the pod to two days after I will have already left. My level of anger can not be explained. I contacted pods, and the only answer that they gave me was that a ticket was put in, and I had to wait for a response. I am moving in less than five days and am in need of immediate assistance. If this doesn’t go through, I will have to go through another company to get moved. This will cost me an immense amount of time and money due to it being so close to the moving date. I thought that this company was going to be great for me, but it has ended up being an absolute disaster.Update: I ended up having to cancel my order. I had to call them back just to get more information and to try to get this issue resolved. They simply said there was nothing they could do. They have a great marketing and advertising team, but they lack heavily in customer service. My entire move has been altered because they did not pay attention to detail and did nothing to accommodate for my issue after their mistake. It is slowly turning a nightmare due to their lack of effort. I know I’m only one customer and my business will be easily replaced, but I matter even if only to myself. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Moved in February and have been trying to get a resolution ever since. They finally replied that they don't see any reason to refund any of my money as a courtesy for simple failure to follow instructions.Issue 1: Online quote was extremely misleading, not showing some of their nickel and dime charges and ending up costing us about $300 more dollars than we originally planned.Issue 2: Their driver failed to follow our instructions for placement of the container at our final location. The website specifically asks which direction the door should face. We said the door should face the house. Asked the driver did one of us need to accompany him to the house for placement and he said no, he had the instructions. The container was placed the exact opposite of the way we asked. A small issue.....until we get there and have to fight the RAIN to get the few things we needed to sleep in the house that night. And then it proceeded to rain for the next several days, meaning we could not unload the container or what we did unload got soaked. If the container had been placed as we had asked, it would not have been an issue.Issue 3: Filed a complaint after all the fees were paid (because apparently PODS requires all balances be paid before they will look into anything) and waited MONTHS for someone to contact me. Finally had to try and call customer service myself which was automated system he**. Finally got someone and they agreed to have the complaint worked within 2 weeks.Issue 4: They denied any sort of courtesy refund and I would have been happy with even a $25 refund to just show they cared but NOOOOO. They can't do that.There are a lot of other moving and storage companies out there. Do your research before you use any of them but for sure, stay away from PODS.

What has been the most uncomfortable, irritating experience I ever had to move. They were helpful in the beginning getting the pod to my house but anytime after that has been hell and to top it off, they want to charge me 355 extra dollars for a schedule they could not keep or do in a timely fashion. And not only does the people now the phone don’t know what they’re doing. They can’t schedule your deliveries to your new house or your new location when you tell them to schedule it and then to go less than 600 miles they want to take three weeks to deliver my pod to my house, then want to charge me for storage this is very unprofessional and very disappointing. I will be getting a lawyer involved in this. Good luck to anybody, whoever uses part of the future.

Not Military Friendly. If you don’t remember to say you are doing a military move they will refuse to change it for you. They have poor customer service. I had a life altering event and had to get my things out of the house short notice and they refused to include a military discount because I forgot to say it at the beginning of the order.

Moved from Louisiana to Colorado. PODS made my move very easy and convenient because I didn't feel comfortable driving a 20ft truck with a car on a trailer. The PODS pick up and delivery men were very friendly and professional. They made me feel confident in choosing PODS for my cross country move.

PODS is the company to use when moving out of state. You decide what size container you need. Price given in initial phone call was the price I paid when move was complete. Everything arrived in perfect condition.

This was the first time I used PODS. Everything was great, except when it was time to re-deliver the container, they said they need to use 'City Services' which was more expensive that the quote I was given. I did not change my address from the time I was given my initial quote. If I knew how much they were going to charge, I might have looked for other options. I just wish they were transparent about their billing procedures. When I said that this was not what I had expected, they said they will review the charges and get back to me. It has been more than a month, and I have not heard anything from them.

The PODS were fine. It was the packers in Shreveport that were the issue. We paid for three men. Two showed up and the second one left after the noon. Granted, he was dealing with a family death that happened two weeks earlier, he was experience some mental anguish. The unloaders that came from Atlanta were fantastic. Four strong dudes who were very polite and got the job done in less than four hours. Saved us hundreds of dollars :)

They are quick to engage, but poor at following up. Once they have your filled pod they struggle to get it to you at the time or place requested. I think they simply string you along to get more money, like they hold your possessions hostage until you pay a ransom. I cannot recommend PODS to anyone for any reason.
