This is mainly a residential park, so if you're looking for a one-night stay but couldn't get a hold of the manager (call nor text) but tried to stop anyway because you have two small kids and an elderly dog and are brave to drive through the park searching for what you hope is one of two possible open spots due to the two envelopes at the cash drop box, you may find yourself in one of the only open spots - E61, where you'll most assuredly be awakened before the sun rises to the continual call of a singular crowing rooster at your neighboring site.Everything else was great ?.

Too many old trashy looking campers. We only stayed 1 night to travel to Texas, but needs a little TLC.

Drove through to check it out before we decided to stay and I am glad I did! A lot of permanent residence in the campsites and a lot of them were very trashed. Was a little scary to me. When we left I decide to look up the reviews again because i remembered a 4.3 and I was reading how several of the one nighters had lost their cats there. And found out that they were trapped and killed. I do not recommend this campground. I Believe a lot of the reviews that are five stars had to be put by someone that knows the owner.

Full hookups for $35 cash deposited in a night box. That's a little much. We called the # on the office door after 7pm and were instructed to take a map and go to a pull thru site. She was very nice. There was a big group of people gathered in the road on our way into the loop and took them a minute to move, just staring blankly as we passed. Awkward. The site wasn't level with the way we stayed hooked up to our 35' TT, but we made it work. The site across from us was full of junk and trash. Train horn but it was distant. Steep hill on the way out but we made it up even in the rain.

I chose this campground specifically for its proximity to the Bonnie and Clyde Ambush Museum. We were very happy with the park. It’s super quiet and well kept. The laundry and bathrooms were very clean. Yes, there are a lot of full time residents, but, for the most part, everyone tends their site well. Our site was level, the staff were courteous and the value is tremendous!!

Stayed one night while passing through. Nice, quiet rv park. Sites in the woods, spread out. Very reasonably priced. Will stay again.

Spots are clean, quit location. Easy access off of hwy. Could use some clean up of longtime residents and cleanup of trees some spots are hard to back in.

Nice place but if you can't sleep through a freight train passing by, you may want to look elsewhere. I was wakened 3 times during the night but my wife slept right through it. Only reason I gave it four stars instead of five.

I liked it. Hilly but all the spots are level. Clean and groomed. Easy after hours check in. Super nice folks.
