.. they need a fan to keep it easier to work in that area...

I ordered 3 yards of fabric and received it in 2 pieces cut. Customer service is closed on the weekends. Local Joann could not help. I cannot use this with my pattern.

Nice store, found some really good deals.Then as I was leaving the store manager was sitting right outside the main entrance smoking a cigarette, really bad end to a nice visit, would be nice if smokers could smoke where their stench isn't forced upon others, especially employees and even more so of the management.

I shopped at this location while vacationing in Louisiana and I enjoyed it. The shelves were somewhat barren, particularly in the fabric section, but I still managed to bring home quite a haul. The employees were decent; they were half-heartedly friendly, but that's acceptable enough for me. I'll still surely want to visit this store again the next time I'm visiting family in Slidell, especially since the location that's near my home is in such a dangerous area (Jackson, MS) and I probably can't shop in a JoAnn Fabrics again until I do come back!

NOT HAPPY. Drove over an HOUR from Ponchatoula to pick up some things I specifically buy from JoAnn’s. Everything I was going to buy was 40% off on the website and JoAnn’s has always just price-matched their website prices in the past, just like any other big store does. HOWEVER this time I got all the way to the cashier and was told that they were no longer allowed to price match their OWN website, and that I would have to order online and then wait an hour for an employee to get the order and gather my items (that I had already spent over an hour picking out myself!). I entertained this ABSURD idea for five minutes only to find out that Joann’s website wouldn’t even let me choose some of the items for pick-up because the site said that they were out of stock despite me having just brought them to the cashier. I finally just gave up and decided to try to hopefully find a new store to buy thread and elastic. I’m actually pretty upset. JoAnn’s, you need to fix this. You are a craft store, people like to come in and pick out things for their projects, besides the fact that some of us just like to enjoy shopping and to pick out our own items. And us people that do like to shop in store don’t wanna pay 40% more for those items for absolutely no reason. I’m so sad that I will no longer be shopping at JoAnn’s unless they fix this issue.

Normally I have no issues but I just left from here I waited awhile at check out no one ever came so I left. I didn't see anyone in sight I get they may be short staffed and stuff but at least check every now and then at registers. I would've waited a little bit longer if I didn't had my toddler with me or went to go find someone to check me out but I was there for one item holding my toddler 8 months pregnant I was not about to hunt down an employee to check me out.
