  Please do not buy or go there for any services. On May 6th I bought a used car from there and on May 10th it broke down. The car’s motor had locked up. I was driving to Jackson, Ms to get the title switched over to me and while driving the oil light came on. I called Mr Phillip Wood and he explained that he had changed the oil and there was no need to go by an oil shop to get it changed. He said to just bring it by the next day to have it out on the machine to see what’s the issue. Well low and behold I listen to him and after taking care of my business with the title I’m driving back on I 55 and the motor locks up now I’m stuck on the side of the road in Bogue Chitto, Ms. This was on my birthday. I had to pay two wrecker services a total of $400 dollars to get it to McComb and from there to his shop in Slidell, La. He checks it out and goes on to tell me that there isn’t any oil in the vehicle and that I DRAINED IT OUT. I’m a school teacher and doesn’t know the first thing about draining oil out of a car. Plus why would I pay $4000 dollars for a car just to mess it up. Fast forward to now, he agreed to put another engine in my car if I pay for the engine but he wants me to pay for everything before he does the work. How STUPID does he think I am? He wants me to pay for a service before it’s rendered. That’s insane. Please for your own good and sanity do not take your business to Phillip Wood. He gives his own self reviews. Scammers

  I was working in the Slidell area on a Saturday when my car went into limp
  mode and was misfiring.Hoping to find a shop open, I found Northshore.The gentleman diagnosed my issue and I was back on the road in an hour.Excellent service & prices.

  I tell you what this is the worriest shop I've ever been to in my life 2months my car was there 850$ dollars he charge to change my blinker switch and still not fix and he drives your car to other shops with out your permission so they works on it and you get charge double please people go somewhere else it's a rip off

  I made the drive out to Slidell, from New Orleans, after Guys Auto in Metairie quoted me an insane amount to replace a A/C switch. Called around, and either no one had availability, worked on my type of car, or would give me straight pricing answer. The first place in Slidell I tried was this one and they were super straight forward and honest. They replaced the sensor in less than a day, and charged me less than half than other shop, because they were honest on the amount of chargeable time. I’ll go out of my way to visit this shop again.

  DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!! …Service was completed months ago and the hood of my vehicle was left slightly opened I didn’t notice it until I got on the interstate and it flew opened and damaged and almost caused a bad accident. I informed the owner about it and to make sure it’s closed for my next service he insisted that it wasn’t an error he made even though I didn’t ask for any reimbursement fee or extra sympathy whatsoever. Not learning my lesson from that experience I dropped my vehicle here once again nearly two weeks went by and I hadn’t heard anything from them so I decided to go in person to follow up on them I noticed my sunroof was opened all those days of it being left parked. I’m sure that’s an error I made myself but one would thing a place providing great customer service would’ve closed the sunroof for a frequent customer. Lastly, the last time service was completed the owner said my airbags wasn’t working and I knew it was a scheme to get extra service and money because when I arrived I pressed the airbag button and the airbags lifted the truck right up..Horrible service, lengthy service, and much dishonesty for a paying customer who asked for nothing in return for my hood being damaged but for them to not make the same error again

  Called to see if they were able to work on rotary engines and the first thing the man told me wasn’t no or sorry but instead “we’ll pass” that absolutely enraged me. I’m just called because it’s Northshore FOREIGN and domestic so my bad for calling to ask.
