I was at this Petco several days ago to buy some supplies for my fish, and I went to ask for assistance and I seen a female employee playing video games at the register, I heard what sounded like shooting coming from the tablet device she was playing on. I would never imagine seeing something like this in any store I am a customer of. She had a controller out and didn’t seem to care about the presence of customers around the front of the store. I came back in today to buy some fish and seen her still there today. I hope something was done about this. I enjoy shopping here and spend a lot of money here. If I see anything like this again I will not return and I will tell everyone in my fish community, that some employees at that location are oblivious to customer service and they should shop elsewhere. I would like reassurance from whoever is in charge at this location that disciplinary action has been taken against this employee at a minimum. Playing what, sounded like, a violent video game should not be allowed in a workplace. I would fire them if they worked for me. Sad to see at this location especially…

They have a huge selection of orijen cat food and the natural litters. Might be the best stocked petco in the country. I truck, so I see a whole lot of them.

Staff was extremely helpful, kind, and friendly!!! Made the whole shopping experience a pleasant experience instead of more like a chore. The only problem fish stock was low unfortunately.

If I could give 0 stars I would I bought my bearded dragon and upon arriving home realized that he was sick with a respiratory infection and the beginning of mouth rot. I noticed at Petco the humidity was way to high and the temps were way to low for a dragon. I was told I could bring him back to Petco and they would transfer him to their vet but after seeing the conditions he was kept in I was not going to trust them with his life. Luckily I did enough research on dragons before purchasing to know what to look for in sicknesses and got him into the vet just in time. But I will not be purchasing from here any longer.

The gentleman working the front counter was great! Very friendly and handled an impatient (slightly rude) customer very professionally. The store itself was clean and easy to navigate.

I absolutely love this place! They have such a great selection of animals, reptiles & amphibians & arachnids being my favorite. The pets are well taken care for, & always tame with great appetite! The selections for everything my animals need is always amazing as i have 2 tortoises & also 2 red ear sliders. Its easy to spend money here as they have so many options to buy! So be careful! The workers, one in particular (i wish i knew his name) are so well educated especially when it comes to the animals! I make the drive fron bay st louis ms to come here every chance i get. Just got a beautiful bearded dragon as well as a gorgeous albino pacman frog & the supplies for both. Im so pleased with all! Thank you petco for being so amazing & caring about your animals and training your employees unlike other places like petsmart & delta pet. Keep it up!
