I recently joined spectrum when picking up my wifi equipment I pay for through Villa du lac apartments. I was on a family plan but left to switch to spectrum because the representative I spoke with said I qualified for 12 free months. I had to even come back twice because the original person was not there and the other representative did not want to ‘take her commission’. This was a huge inconvenience for me. I thought it was odd I had to be charged for the first month for joining this was not brought up in the discussion. A month later I would be charged again and spoke with someone on the phone they first said due to it being with an apartment I couldn’t qualify but then later in the conversation they said I could and to call back in a week to make sure the changes were secured but did not refund me the money for that month. Again I was charged today. I went to the store in Slidell and waited for an hour almost just to be told I would have to call billing and then was told that there was nothing they could do over the phone and I did not qualify. Bottom line I feel like the representatives should have known I did not qualify and seems like they only want to get me on a plan to get a sale and everyone else just kicked the can down the road so I could keep getting charged. I will be looking for another plan starting today even if it is more expensive as my experience with spectrum has been slimy at best and that is not how I like to do business.

I want to recognize Semaj for exceptional patience, but most of all her friendly service. People coming in frustrated they had to sign in, wait, and voicing their frustrations rudely. Semaj kept a smile on her face and kept moving forward. Took her time with whom she was helping and very attentive to customers. The world needs more like this exceptional young lady!!!

Do not go to spectrum for internet we have no choice where I live for over 3 weeks now internet in and out all day long

Unbelievably poor Internet service. I pay too much money to have to endure so much Internet lag as I play online video games. I literally lose games due to the lag. It’s beyond frustrating

Customer service at the store is terrible. Come in to ask a simple question and get yelled at across the room for the answer by an associate that wasn't even involved in the conversation. Very unprofessional. I work in management and if I saw one of my employees respond in that manner, they would be gone. Unacceptable. Also, when trying to cancel my cable service due to the price being ridiculous. They wouldn't allow me to cancel. So I said "well, if you don't want to cancel my cable then cancel everything". Let's just say that got their attention. It's a shame it had to come down to that, but when the employees act like children, you have to treat them as such. Unprofessional, unnecessary and incompetent.
