I first reached out to Mike’s Hardware in July 2024 to inquire about replacing a window and was directed to the sales department. Ken, the initial salesperson, came out promptly, gathered the necessary details, and assured me he could order the window soon. However, despite this, no progress was made for months.
Throughout this time, I had to repeatedly follow up, only to hear vague updates about the order supposedly being worked on. By October, I switched to a different salesperson due to Ken’s lack of communication. While the new salesperson eventually ordered the window, they too failed to follow up. On November 4th, I was finally told the window had arrived and that they would set up a delivery appointment.
It is now November 20th, and there has still been no communication about the delivery. When I called again, I was offered the option to pick it up myself in Slidell as though it was a favor to waive the taxes. Considering I’ve waited since July and live in the Bay Area, this “favor” feels dismissive and inadequate.
The lack of communication, delays, and unprofessionalism I experienced from the sales team were incredibly frustrating. I cannot recommend Mike’s Hardware based on this experience.

Service is top notch. But.... those prices are ridiculous. I can't be okay with charging almost double for items that everyone else is charging reasonable prices for.
