For having to go through the loss of my fur baby, I was overwhelmed at how much Brandi took such good care of my puppy. She was so kind and understanding and I’m so glad she was the one who took such good care of my Benji. Thank you so much Brandi. You have no idea how much your kindness and compassion meant to me. :)

My baby died on 4/15/25 and the vet was horrible but they made sure they treated my baby with respect and let me know the entire process and made sure I had a way to greave her loss. She was my emotional support animal for almost 4 years and wish she didn’t have the death that she did.

On 3/28/2025 we lost our beloved Snowy after 12.5 amazing years. She was the best dog I was ever blessed to have. On this day I had no idea it would be my last with her although I knew it was getting closer, it was unexpected. I left the vet devastated, my mind was not in the right place. The weekend had came and went and all I could think about was where I left her and who would handle my precious Snowy's remains. I emailed Unforgettable pets hoping I had more time to create a little more memory of her. Brandi responded by calling me (outside of office hours) and kept in touch with me throughout the entire process. She handled my sweet Snowy with care and made sure to follow up and let me know as soon as she was ready to come home. I was grateful to have this type of connection during such a vulnerable broken time in my life. My Snowy is deeply missed, she was loved unconditionally. Thank you Brandi for all you have done to ease my pain. You are truly a God sent blessing!

Our 2 experiences with Unforgettable Pets were both amazing. I would encourage anyone that experiences the unfortunate loss of their beloved pet to contact them. We lost our 2 oldest both to cancer within a year of each other. Thanks to them, Jake and Presley will forever feel closer to us. The “fur heart” card is my favorite part of the package….their attention to detail and ability to capture their memory through such a small but creative and meaningful gesture has made me forever grateful. Additionally, the paw print and beautiful, decorative wooden box containing the ashes completes the memorial with such dignity and respect that it has helped us tremendously during this tough time. All done in a timely manner and a cost that was very reasonable and affordable, making it possible for almost any pet owner going through this tough time to be able to remember their pets in such a wonderful way. Huge thank you! If I could give them a million stars I would!

I called after hours when my dog passed away, I got a call back and got all my questions answered. I brought my dog in the next morning and received him back a day later. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I picked him back up but it was honestly so nice, the wooden box with his name and velvet bag were pretty and his paw ink prints came out perfect.

My sweet boy passed on a Monday afternoon. Immediately I called this place to see if they could help and I was met with the sweetest, most kindest person who helped me. Thank you so much for making the process a little bit easier. I’m so happy that I can always have him near. 🖤

I wish I didn’t have to leave a star after what happened. My mom’s Yorkie had passed, we left her at the vet so she could get cremated, we had left her in a blanket. This blanket was the same blanket that 5 other dogs who had passed were all wrapped in as they were sent to the crematory. They burned the blanket. We don’t even know if we were given the right ashes because they didn’t read the papers or email that said not to burn the blanket. It wasn’t just a regular blanket, it had sentimental value. The district manager was very rude. All the district manager did was blame the other employees, he didn’t take responsibility for what had happened.

After dealing with a disaster at another facility where my pet was located I was losing all options on who to call and where to go to have my baby picked up and cremated somewhere else. I spoke to Mr. Wayne and he was willing to go get him for me so he could come back home so I could get closure. I felt the compassion from this facility and if I ever have to encounter this again I will surely bring my others there and recommend other people to Unforgettable Pets.

My little girl came home in a beautiful box with a personalized name plaque. They also had it in a nice gift bag with her certificate and pamphlets about grief that I found really helpful to me, as I am really struggling with the loss of my baby girl. I was so worried when this was a sudden and unexpected loss that was not financially feasible at the time. They offer a payment plan and I really appreciated that more than they could ever know. The time I dropped my baby off to the time she was ready was impressively quick. I will be using them again when the unfortunate time comes for the rest of my babies.

I've had to unfortunately use these folks twice already in 2023. They are kind, respectful and seem to care about everyone's very loved pet that comes in. Was hoping I wouldn't have to use them again for a while but here we are. Great people and a great place if you're not looking into burials.

Wayne is an exceptional, compassionate and kind soul who treated my Weimaraner, Audi, with dignity and love when I went to see her the last time. He kept me updated and didn't have to. He went above and beyond! I do not hesitate to recommend Unforgettable Pets in Slidell, LA. My baby girl is from Pensacola, Florida and I thank God this place handled her cremation. God bless them all for their integrity and kindess. They helped ease my mind during my grief. Much Respect and Gratitude!
