My package has been sitting there for over 4 business days, somehow been “in transit to the next facility” for a week and I’m barely 5 miles away from them.

Recently my packages have been being send here while in transit and they don't move for days. I had one that sat for 3 days here before being sent to Dallas, Baton Rouge, to New Orleans, and then back to me in Hammond. I now have one that is currently there and has been sitting for 5 days now. It is a priority package and it has live plants in it. It was supposed to be here days ago and at this point my plants are going to be dead.

Idk why as of late every package I’ve had delivered from usps arrives well over a week later sometimes even two weeks. I know the time that’s given is only an estimate but it’s extremely frustrating that they take so long to deliver something. Never on time

The representative JOE is extremely rude and unprofessional. God forbid you make a small mistake on a package such as a barcode 99% covered , he will aggressively shove your package back towards you and send you to the back of the line. As of now if you have to bring more than 5 packages to him he’s stating that you must “create a manifest” online so that everything is already scanned in which he claims is policy. We’ve never had a problem before nor with anyone else at this location nor the other location in our area. We checked the policy and he is lying and simply wants to get out of doing any work so he makes up policies & is passive aggressive to make people feel uncomfortable. This guy needs to be held accountable immediately or needs to retire because his attitude is ridiculous.

The inside service is great and for the most part so are the carriers.3 stars because the small percentage of sticky fingers ruin the place so make sure your stuff is insured.

This location always seems short staffed and everyone is extremely rude. Multiple times I've been here and no one has followed Covid-19 safety measures and the customer services is always passive aggressive.

The front desk staff inside are great but I had a package stating delivered to my mail box at a time where i was literally in my drive way but no carrier even drove by my house at the time they say it was delivered. Still no package..

I understand this in the aftermath of Ida, but the mail truck has driven by my house three days now, not delivering my mail. I have a package in their possession, and they claim it is undeliverable to my address. For any of the other issues I have had with this post office, I cannot say anything better than they are lazy and incompetent here. I long after the day there's a viable private option to USPS, and I have been a supporter of their services in the past but no longer. I miss Dan who worked there, as he always gave excellent service and was very nice.
