When I heard from my pharmacist at Winn-Dixie that they were no longer going to be in the Pharmacy game, and that worse yet Walgreens was going to be taking over their business. I was quite upset for many reasons. First of all, I love my Winn Dixie pharmacists, and the service I get there. Second, the last time I used Walgreens it was a nightmare, wrapped in a torture film snuggled into a cozy little dumpster fire.It is been a few years so let's give them another chance right? Wrong. My very first prescription there they couldn't fill. It was out of stock. OK things happen. But as it turns out, they don't have a contract with that manufacturer and nobody bothered to tell me this. Neither did they tell me that there was another option available. That was the exact same drug. So I went without a viral medicine for over three weeks. Then there's the fact that every time I go there the line is wrapped around the building and you don't spend any less than a half an hour waiting. Then there's the fact that you call in a prescription or try to transfer from Winn-Dixie and app doesn't work so then you have to call in and wait 1520 minutes on the phone to speak to someone. And that someone is usually very impatient and not very friendly.Did I mention that this transition has been anything but smooth and if anything it's getting rougher?Another Medicine of mine has been out of stock for three weeks. Every time I go in, I ask about it and every time I get the same answer "we don't know". This week I was sick and got antibiotics that I could not pick up for two days because it was too busy in the store. When I finally got the medicine I needed because I am very sick, I asked about the prescription that is out of stock again. Finally, I got someone who knows what they're doing, cares enough to share that information, and cares enough about their job and the people that they work with to actually do a good job because she told me that just because the drug is out at their store doesn't mean that it's completely out everywhere as I was led to believe. She advised me to call back and speak to the pharmacist, and they can call around to the other stores and find the drug in stock. This morning at my lunch break that's what I did. I called and waited to speak to someone to find out which store in this area has my medicine that I've been waiting three weeks for. I was put on hold, after I'd already waited on hold for 10 minutes, and sat on hold for another 40 minutes. At the end of my 15 minute phone call , I was transferred to a survey as though I had been taken care of and they wanted my feedback for my phone call. My completely unsuccessful phone call. So I gave them feedback. I'm not sure they want the feedback they got, but the feedback they got reflects the phone call that I just had. TLDR I wouldn't use Walgreens if it was the last pharmacy on the face of the Earth, and I needed one pill to save my life

The dude in charge was helpful. They didn't have the printer ink I was looking for but neither did Walmart and that's where I purchased my printer. The staff is customer friendly most of the time. Walgreens is super pricey so it is usually my last resort place to buy things. Winn Dixie has a much better card selection.

Unfortunately, Walgreens is our in network pharmacy for our insurance. After testing positive for the flu, the doctor sent a prescription for medicine to the Walgreens on Military. My son waited in line for 20 minutes only to find out that they were out of it. The pharmacist told him to call the Front Street store. I'm surprised that they don't have the ability to see what is in stock at other Walgreen pharmacies. I also would think it is good business to contact the store for the customer because without the prescription being sent over, my son would not have been able to get the medicine even if they had it. My son called the Front Street Walgreens, but it took him to a call center. The representative told him that she would try to get the prescription transferred from Military to Front Street. After being on hold for 35 minutes, he got disconnected. He called back and was told the medicine was not at the Front Street store, but they had some at another local Walgreens. They "transferred" him to that pharmacy and he was on hold for an hour before hanging up because he knew the store was about to close. I'm pretty sure I'll never step foot in a Walgreen for anything ever again. I'm willing to pay more money out of network. Now we will have to wait until morning for the Walgreens that has my son's prescription to open and transfer to a store that has the medicine.

This is supposed to be a 24 hour location. On 9/15/2021 I arrived at 4:35PM. The manager Michael Creager was standing in the doorway blocking customers from entering. He stated, “We don’t have enough staff to stay open.” I told him his website stated they closed at 5:00pm. He replied, “we have a line inside and I’m not allowing any more customers.”

Only allowing 10 customers in your store, closing at 4:30 in the afternoon and keeping your drive thru closed is ridiculous!

I have been trying for days now to get my prescription moved and filled . I normally use the store at Pearl and Gause and Barbara is awesome! For some reason it is temporarily closed. The Walgreens customer service is terrible. They put you on hold for hours & forget about you. Today after holding for 30 I got someone to take my call at the Military store. They got the prescriptions moved and told me to be there before 5 pm. My wife went to pick them up at 4:33 and she was turned away saying that the pharmacy closed at 4:30! Shame Shame Shame on you at this Walgreens lying to your customers! These medications are for a elderly family member who is recovering from a stroke. Now I am being told to come back at 9am. I am sure this will fall on deaf ears.
