About Starks Truck Stop
Starks Truck Stop is a clean and well-lit place with plenty of parking and friendly staff. The convenience store offers a good selection of items, including energy drinks and emergency supplies, and the restrooms are kept very clean. One of the highlights is the sub counter, known for its strong sub game. Customers praise the freshly sliced meats, crisp vegetables, and soft rolls that are filled generously and served warm without becoming soggy. The atmosphere is welcoming, with friendly workers who embody the spirit of the local community. Visitors also enjoy the nostalgic feel, recalling memories from childhood when the place was known as the Silver Dollar. However, some caution is advised with the tamales sold there, as they caused stomach issues for one customer. Additionally, refueling large vehicles may take some time due to small delivery nozzles. Overall, Starks Truck Stop is appreciated as a nice stop for travelers and locals alike, offering good food, a friendly environment, and a sense of community.
