My husband ordered the meat lover pizza and I ordered chicken and shrimp angel hair Alfredo pasta. The bread that is placed on the table was soft but could have slightly browned more. The pizza didn’t look like it was homemade dough but store bought. The red sauce was bitter and the meats on it wasn’t a large amount. My husband stated that it was not good. It was a 12” pizza and my husband can eat a whole 16” in two sitting. The pizza I believe was $14-15,Was it worth the price? My husband’s opinion no way, Walmart has a meat lovers pizza in the deli section for $11 and it’s not only bigger but definitely better.Should I compare Walmart to a restaurant, well if you what something worth your money, you have to go where it’s good. The pasta wasn’t dry not ma’am, no sir, it was drowning in sauce. For some maybe you like more meat than pasta, but I like to have an equal amount. The chicken had a strange taste to it, maybe because that was dry and burnt? Not sure, but with so much sauce it did soften up. The shrimp was okay(5 whole pieces). My pasta was $21-22. Was it worth the price, to me no, no ma’am, no sir. I have had much better Alfredo at Applebees and paid half the price. The service from the waiter was good, he was polite and patient and listened to how I ordered my children food. Thank you for that.I will not go back to try again.Kid-friendliness: They made the request that I had for my children, they did not have any thing to entertain the children though

I wasn’t expecting much. I’m staying just down the road and this came up as a restaurant close by. So wow I’m thrilled. I ordered a house salad, chix parm and a side of fett Alfredo. The meal starts w focaccia rolls fresh from the oven and a crisp green salad w amazing house made dressing- a mash up of grandmas French dressing and Italian- I am motivated to make my own it was so good. The chix parm was ridiculously large as was the side fett Alfredo. It was all delicious homemade and spot on!!! If you roll thru SULPHUR please do not pass go.

It was our first time eating at Joe's. We stopped by after others recommended their pizza. Our experience didn't make a good first impression. It was both bad and good. It turns out we arrived during shift change which was not a good thing service and quality wise. I'll explain the reasons for the luke warm review. I'm actually being generous based on most of our experience there. First of all, it was a bad day for sweet tea. It was pricey and the worst tea, I can remember in recent times. It tasted like tea water. It was vaguely sweet and watered down. It barely taste like tea. As someone who spent years in the restaurant industry, my theory is that someone was lazy during shift change and didn't want to make fresh tea, so they added water to the leftover tea. We hardly drank any, so it was a waste of money. Then we got our pizzas. The server brought out 2 burnt pizzas to our table and asked if we wanted them or should they remake them. That should not even been a question. Never bring something like that to someone's table to begin with. They were trash pizzas. No manager was on the floor. No concessions offered for the inconvenience and added wait time. When we finally got the second pizza, the first waitress never bothered to tell us she was leaving nor introduced the new waitress. She just left. We were very polite the entire time. The new waitress delivered the fresh pizzas. This time we had good pizzas and a better, friendlier waitress. The second pizzas were outstanding and what I expected them to be the first go round. Another thing to note, Joe's has a full bar. I guess if you want a specialty drink don't ask. Being a Texas girl, I love a good freshly made margarita. I asked if they could make margaritas and I was referred to the clear beverage machine that was full of a bright shamrock colored concoction that made me think of St. Patrick's Day. I was told that only those disgusting house margaritas were available. I passed and opted for the nasty tea. Again, our second pizza was outstanding, but it shouldn't take 2 tries. Major quality control issues at Joe's. We will go back, but only to get pizza to go and we will be sure to inspect it before leaving.

Holy cannoli this place is absolutely amazing!! On our way to Golden Nugget from Texas, we stopped in Sulphur to pick up dinner and wanted Italian. Never been here but we for sure will be back! The Chicken Della Casa, kids Spaghetti with meatballs and Chicken Carbonara were the best I've ever had. I didn't even have acid from the sauce, which is a first. Huge portions, great prices and going through the drive-thru was easy peasy. I can't say enough good things about this food. Do yourself a favor and stop in for a meal!
