“It is a nice hotel with a great location. My only issue was that they do not clean the room daily even when you tell them to. They explained to me that they only clean upon request. I asked them if they can come every single day and they said yes that they added it to the schedule. No one came so I asked again if they could come everyday and they said they would need to get with the housekeeping supervisor because they were supposed to yet still no one came. I also went to eat breakfast one day 30 minutes after the time their website and signs said it starts and it was not ready. The lady in the kitchen bringing out the eggs had am attitude and told is that nothing was out yet because breakfast does not start for another hour.”

“As far as location, this place is perfect. Breathtaking few of the Mississippi River, patio to enjoy breakfast and dinner. But the rooms need attention. I paid for river view because we were there for the balloon festival. Well, much like other reviews have stated, you can't see out the windows. Our room was also apparently over the indoor swimming pool. The smell in our room was like a musky, mildew type smell. As far as the rest of the room and service it was good. Breakfast was satisfactory and good. The cats on the patio area were very entertaining. The other problem would be if you have a Choice Hotel gift card. The front desk doesn't know how to credit your account with these. If you have one, use it when you make your reservation and not afterwards. If I would recommend Clarion Suites in Vidalia, yes I would. It is overall a good hotel. Would I return to this one? Yes I would. The river being right there at the patio area makes the other flaws seem not so bad.”

“We have been staying here for about 4 or 5 years now for Father’s Day weekend and it’s always nice. We really enjoy it and Troy and Miriam are so friendly and helpful. We will be back for sure.”
