I had to make the decision to put my cat in renal failure down unexpectedly.. and they wrapped him in a garbage bag A GARBAGE BAG LIKE TRASH. I had that sweet boy for 9 years and lost him and they gave him to me in a trash bag like he was garbage. He was my family. Shame on you.

They are incompetent. Our cat was in labor and her uterus prolapsed. We took her in and was told that there was no more kittens inside her to be delivered so they put her uterus back in and stitched her up. We got her back home and she started contracting again. We called back up there and was told there was nothing more that could be done for her. She was contracting so bad that her backside almost bust open. The next morning we discovered a kittens tail hanging out of her uterus through the stitches. Not only did we lose a kitten we could have lost our cat also. I will never go there again. They care more about charging you outrageous prices than caring for the animals.

Visiting my mom for Christmas, my dog started having GI issues. Nothing was open where we were, and, after speaking with the nicest lady on the phone, we decided to drive Christmas Eve to Monroe to make sure she was okay. We were seen within 15 minutes of arrival and paperwork, and my dog was assessed by the vet shortly thereafter. We had a diagnosis within the hour with a treatment plan and on our way back home. Everyone we encountered was kind, professional, knowledgeable and -- above all else -- concerned for my dog (who is back to her normal self). Her care was also incredibly reasonably priced. Highly recommend if you need to have your pet seen off hours!

Brought my 7 year old male neutered cat Bumper there at 530 AM on Saturday with blockage. Surgery done right then by Dr Stokes. Very good care but poor explanation of process from there. Was told they would call to update with cat catheterization and giving fluids. I had to call for updates, that was OK as I know they are busy. However, they told me to leave cat there until Monday when I could have brought to my vet on Saturday morning just to have to pick up cat this AM before 7 to sit in my vet parking lot until 8 AM and still has catheter in cat. If I wouldn't have called, Bumper would have been there all day and I would have had no way to get him. No communication from this place unless I initiated it.

My sweet little 4 pound yorkie was attacked by a pitbull. I was terrified and she was not in good shape. Staff was friendly and calm, the Dr was calm and knowledgeable. They took such good care of my little girl. So happy she is home and recuperating. I am so grateful for the caring and wonderful staff..

We had a great experience here yesterday - my dog somehow sliced her lip and they got her fixed up and got us in and out quickly!

not only were the people working here extremely non-sympathetic, they cared more about how much i was able to pay upfront than saving our sweet baby. they talked more about the cost of every single thing they could do for him than the state of our animal and within an hour after leaving this clinic our baby died in our arms in distress. the FIRST thing they said to us when we walked through the door was “$115 exam fee and all payment is due before you leave”. after a few friends called them to ask questions they basically admitted that they were aware that we’d lose our cat. therefore they sent us home to watch him die in the worst way possible. they made an already horrific situation ten times more traumatizing. they should be shut down. if i’m ever in this situation again i’ll drive to shreveport to find an emergency vet if i need to.

The most caring and compassionate team. I’ve had to bring my cat there yesterday. She was 23 and with me for almost 22 years. Her health declined rapidly Friday to Saturday night, and I knew it was time to let her go. We’ve had to drive there from el dorado, Arkansas, and had quite a bit waiting time. But I’m glad I’ve made the decision and had wonderful people around me while having to say goodbye.Thank you again❤️

I have been providing palliative care for my husky's hip problems and pain for the past 6 months. This weekend the symptoms became too much for him to handle. Thank heaven for Dr. Franklin and the staff at the Emergency Clinic, they could not have been nicer. The last thing I ever wanted to do was to help Saber cross the rainbow bridge, but I knew my last and best gift to him was to make sure he did not have to suffer needlessly. His pain the night before even with his meds was so bad I just knew it was his time. Thanks again for all you do.

Terrible service, DO NOT USE THIS VET IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY. They made the death of our family dog even more traumatic. Heidi was 14 years old, but she was in good health, considering. Unfortunately, she suffered a seizure that night and was put to rest. The staff clearly did not care about her wellbeing, and in my opinion they did not try to help her in any way. She did not deserve to die in that place, but they were the only clinic open. They were not only rude and unsympathetic towards my family, but they also lied about her ashes. They said they sent her to the crematorium, but they did not. When we tried to contact the vet again about her ashes, they never replied.I'm not usually one to write reviews, but people should know about this. All animals deserve respect AND proper care. And so do their owners. This clinic should be ashamed.Long live Heidi<3

I highly recommend this clinic! I brought my sweet dog Layla to this clinic on two separate occasions, once in December and again last night. Both veterinarians that treated Layla explained every procedure that needed to be done and the results of the tests. The overnight stay/treatment cost for the first visit was $630 and consisted of IV fluids, antibiotics, and lab work. I only paid a deposit of $300 last night, however, I’ll pay the remaining balance in the a.m. which will probably be around $200-$300 more. It was and is money well spent! I’m thankful for the staff and physicians for the exceptional care they provided for Layla. I will definitely come back if needed. One cannot expect an after hours emergency animal clinic to be cheap in cost.

False Hope; took my baby to them and they made a diagnosis is less than 10 mins gave him a shot and told me to give him meds (which he could not keep down because he nauseated) finally took him to our regular vet several hours later and he had later died at 5am the next morning. Still got charged $200 and he still died and they didn’t take the time to diagnose him properly; and giving him the correct medication could’ve saved him…Never taking them another of mine again negative 5 stars for me

I found myself out of my dog’s seizure medicine today (saturday) and with my normal vet being closed I had no idea what to do. I called and spoke with a young lady who took my information and contacted one of the doctors at my vet, within 30 minutes, she called me back with a solution. I wish I had gotten her name but she was such a huge help! Thank you so much! You have no idea how much you helped us today!! (To the girl who answered the phone on 12/3/22 around 4:00pm)

My puppy on Sunday October 23 started showing signs of parvo and I called the Animal Emergency Clinic of Ne La to see how much it would be to get my dog seen and treatment because I didn’t know what was going on with him. Well, she told us we had to pay up front and couldn’t work with me or do any short of payment for me just told me 600 dollar not even including medicine or anything and then I asked if I could talk to the actual vet bc she wasn’t doing anything to help us out. She told me no because he was sleeping. My dog could’ve died and they wouldn’t even wake up the vet to possibly tell me what’s wrong with my puppy. I strongly DO NOT recommend taking your pets here!

My dog was dealing with a severe case of indigestion to the point where she could have died from air pockets in her intestines. I called them asking if they have payment plans because we couldn't afford to get her checked 100℅. She said no, and that they want payment before they treat her. I asked if there's anything we could do because shes dying and was told on the phone "that's not our problem if you can't pay us. Let her die and move on"Absolutely disgusting behavior. I was appalled and disgusted.
