Never had a problem here. People are always nice. And when I drop off prepaid packages here it always moves fast to next location. Not like other post office on the westbank. Great service

I went W/ my granddaughter to mail some packages to Hawaii.there were a couple of people ahead of us, so we came at a good time! Everything went smoothly smoothly. The Post Office cashier was polite & friendly. Charles or Liz usually wait on me. I think the Westwego Post office has the nicest ,most professional people. I have been to Marrero, Harvey, Gretna, New Orleans, & Kenner, but I ❤️ Westwego Post Office & it's people ! 🌟🌟🌟
6/08/24 I had to mail a birthday gift today. The lines were moving fast, and the usual people Liz & Charles were off. The cashier was nice .I love this post office bc it gives their customers a personal touch. ❤️
6/17/25 I had several return packages, which charles Postal Cashier was very courteous and extremely helpful.

They are so stupid. They never tried to deliver it to me. 7:02am out for Delivery 7:07am return to sender. AND GOOD LUCK GETTING ANY ONE OF THE PHONE. WHAT A JOKE EVERYONE THAT WORKS NEEDS TO BE FIRED.............

All of my packages I’ve ordered since living in Westwego, that comes thru this post office is opened prior to delivery. There’s always a rip in the bag, hole in a box and on a few occasions they’ve opened the package halfway by the seal itself. Also, no one answers the phone if you call.

If I could give 0 stars I would, what a terrible service from this courier in westwego, I paid for a shipment to Honduras and they returned it due to the poor service of the lady who served me reluctantly and then when I filed the claim she dared to yell at me and threaten to hit me, what kind of customer service is this?

Somehow, the people at this station decided to start returning my mail to sender. I have been waiting for my new credit cards since May 2022. The bank keeps contacting me and asking me to correct my address because the cards keep being returned. However, EVERY bill makes it here just fine.We have been to this station 2 or 3 times to get them to deliver the mail to the residents of our home, but they continue to return to sender my mail, my mother's mail and my mail in my father's name.I just tried to call and speak to someone at this station and twice they hung up on me without answering the phone. If you can pick up the phone to hang up the call, then you can very well take the call!I'm going to contact the Post Master at this point and report the incompetent service that we have been receiving since March of this year, despite several trips to the station in person to get them to correct their mistake.

Just left from there they say they close but they close for 12 went to pick up my mail the lady just pushed me out the door and said sorry we close all I wanted was my mail it wasn’t even 12 it was 11:30 sad post office
