Got in an accident which is why I brought the car in, there was obvious damage caused by the accident. I explained to him when I dropped it off that I was expecting to submit it to insurance. A few days after I dropped it off, he called me and told me that my car was ready to be picked up. He did the work, but said that none of what needed to be done was caused by the accident. And so I owed a bill that I was not expecting. Never in my life have I not been provided with a quote before serves were provided. When I expressed I didn't feel like it was professional told me he wasn't going like to go back-and-forth with me, and I could pick up my car when I could afford to pay for it. Never again, and would never recommend. These people are shady as hell and rude when you call them out on it. Take it somewhere else for better customer service.

One of the best mechanics I've ever had. Honest, knowledgeable, and fair pricing. And you can tell he loves his job. His wife is very personable as well.

I had my Corvette worked on at Melanson’s, I am extremely impressed with Ted’d knowledge and how he cares about his customers. Ted needed to order a part that would have a $30.00 shipping fee, he found another source, he told me he could justify the cost for his customers. Ted is “old school” and that is meant as a very high compliment. My car has never run better. Melanson’s is highly recommended.
