“The antiques are housed in a former historic general store and also in an adjacent barn in the village of Head Tide on the Sheepscot River. The owner Richard is very nice and is a certified antiques appraiser (and painter and poet!). There were antique and vintage items of all kinds (check the website). I bought a beautiful circa 1800s salt glazed pitcher (photo attached). The prices are extremely reasonable, especially compared to a lot of antique stores that I've been to in New England. On the day I went it was so humid that I couldn't spend as much time as I wanted to without passing out, but I'll definitely return when the weather is more cooperative.”

“This place! We LOVED meeting and chatting with Miriam Buckley proprietor. Full of knowledge about Damariscotta and her lovely wares. Her husband is talented at restoring antiques and breathing new life into them. The chairs were 30% off and I wanted them all. Unfortunately they wouldn't fit in my checked bag. Her McCoy pieces were plenty and in pristine shape. Love the way she had them displayed by color. I saw a table that was actually made in the 1700s! When I move to Damariscotta one day, I plan to become best friends with the Buckleys. You must visit.”

“The owner was super friendly and knowledgable on his crafts! I bought a really neat bunny chocolate mold and can't wait to make some for Easter. A definite place to visit as it is super unique!”

“C'est parfait! There were very few images online and we're so glad we stopped by to check it out! We've been on the road for a week and this was hands down our favorite place and such a lovely surprise. We walked into the charming primitive French antique store and met Francois who is the sweetest! There are only two rooms so we were very lucky one was available last minute. If you like the style of the shop you will love these rooms, rustic simple and charming. Francois brought us a basket of food in the morning! The location is perfect, right in the heart of Wiscasset near the bridge. This town is so idyllic, we hope to be back again!”
