My builder uses Champagne and we have their tanks at our new house. I'm on auto delivery and auto pay. I've never run out, never been over charged. As far as I am concered, the service has been pretty seamless.

Champagnes energy is a bunch of crooks, I strongly reccommend nobody deals with them. We moved into this building 11/14/22, The old business had auto fill set up. Champagnes delivered and ran as fast as they could leaving a bill on the door. I called and explained I did not order propane, and this bill for $515.12 was not mine. You then continued to make multiple deliveries, unauthorized after that. I have been fighting this for a year now, and can still not get it resolved. This is my last attempt before escalating you for fraud. I have the original bill with the other parties name on it, and then I have the bill where you switched my name to it (which is not legal) and claim it was never on the other businesses account. When you're trying to buy a house- you have days to decide and all you need is an estimate for a furnace and install, he comes and then you call 12 times only to discover that the guy doing it won't be in until 4 days past the deadline. Yeah, priceless.

This company deserves a zero star rating. About a year ago, they came to fix my gas fireplace. When they drilled a hole through my siding, it split a piece of vinyl siding. After the fireplace repair, the fireplace was acting up and my family and I started smelling something odd. I called to get somebody back out there and they discovered that there was an actual propane leak that was detectable in the living room. This could have been disastrous and life-threatening. They capped off the line until it could be a evaluated further. The service manager had stated that once spring came she would address the siding issue. It is now almost been a year since this incident occurred and I have been jerked around by not only the service manager, but everyone else in the company. She is stating that because I cannot provide the siding, that the contractor they use to fix things like this doesn’t know how to go about matching the siding. Furthermore, she stated that, even if I could find a competent Contractor, they have no way of reimbursing - that it would have to be a credit toward my account. I have tried calling the company on numerous occasions to speak with Dan , who is the supposed general manager. Each time I call, they tell me that they will give him the message and he will call me back shortly. Have not heard from anyone who can actually address the issues correctly.Please do not make the same mistake. I did with this company. Stay far away.

These guys are great. I put in an underground tank and they worked with me so I could do all the excavating myself. Their techs are incredibly knowledgeable, and the customer service team is extra friendly. I have recommended them to all my neighbors.

If you have the choice, do not get your propane from this company. I rent a house with a Champagne tank so I have no choice, but I have had almost nothing but bad experiences with propane delivery from them. Off the bat, their prices are higher than every other company in the area. Then there's the experience of dealing with them. Our first experience with them was a tech who came into our house to turn our system back on after the tank had run empty, who berated us--quite honestly treated us like negligent morons--over something that was our landlord's fault and had nothing to do with us. After offering no helpful suggestions, he stormed out of the house like a child and left. Today, Champagne was supposed to deliver propane after we called 2 days ago to schedule delivery. We got a call this morning saying they had forgotten to put in the ticket and the driver "missed" our house, and it would be an extra $100 for them to come back to us. So now we're in the position of shelling out extra money for THEIR mistake, turning off our heat to conserve propane right after a massive snowstorm, or risking our tank running empty and having to deal with that tech again. They only deliver on Wednesday and Thursday to our area and have a fully booked schedule this week, so I guess we're waiting another week for propane. I cannot imagine experiences like this are all too uncommon with Champagne. The woman on the phone is always kind and helpful, but at some point any customer of theirs will have to deal with their staff either not doing their jobs, or doing them spitefully. And they'll probably charge you extra for it.

I have worked with Chapagne Energy on a few occations for propane setup and delivery. I have always had a good experience.

I picked this retailer because they actually offered the solar buyback program. My first bill was decent at $70 which is actually high. My next bill came in at $160 with solar panels so I'm very disappointed in their service I'm not sure what's going on I'm going to have to contact them now that the holidays are over and see what's happening. Beware I guess

Very frustrated, called on the 12th for propane delivery and was told they would be here in the beginning of the week of the 19th. Called back on the 21st and was told the order was never put through. Called back on the 22nd and was told they would be coming that day but never came. At this point the tanks are reading 0 which we told them. Called back today and was told they would be here today or tomorrow and that they are busy. Customer service rep was condescending and said if we were on automatic delivery this wouldn't happen. I get mistakes happen but they aren't prioritizing the delivery to make up for it. So frustrating.
