I can't speak to their oil quality but their customer service is the worst. On May 23rd an oil driver mistakenly delivered oil to my home. I am not a CN Brown customer. I saw it on my house camera. To help make sure that the correct customer got their oil delivery, I called them right away to report the mistake. They called me back within an hour and stated that they wanted to charge me for the delivery with only a 10% discount or to come and pump it out. This person was not able to offer any other discounts or options. Had to be the Manager. I asked to speak with the manager and was told I would be contacted early the next week as the manager was on vacation. I admit that I was nervous about pumping my system, and wanted to speak with the manager to figure it out. That is where the good part of the experience ended. They never reached out again until I received a letter in the mail on July 11th with an invoice for $600.
Over 1 1/2 months in between their communications. I could have reached out during the time in between but I did not make the mistake and life is busy.
Of course, I called them back that day and asked to speak with the manager. Again, she was on vacation and would call me back Monday the 14th. No call Monday the 14th. Tuesday the 15th, I receive a call from them. Not from the manager that I originally asked to speak with. They stated that they tried calling. No call ever came through, no voicemails, nothing. When I asked if they could tell me when they called so I could check my phone records, they had a quick excuse saying they can't remember every time they make a phone call. That is what a CRM is for.
As of now, I will leave this review at a 1 star until they reach out and I can actually speak with a manager to rectify the issue. Be cautious with this company, they like shady practices, lying and to not track conversations. Making a mistake is one thing. But dodging a hard conversation and making it right are 2 completely separate things.

Drove past my house and I have a video from my house camera at a very high rate of speed for no reason and it’s been going on for a while now. I’m on a private road and it’s dangerous and disturbing behavior especially when kids and animals are living on the road… the driving conditions were very good so no excuse whatsoever!

Don't look for them for your electricity supplier. They give you a song-and-dance, a month later They'll send you a notice very unprofessional. They're worried about your credit when they're not even the ones that you pay the bill too. She tells me after a month, didn't even have my permission to run my credit because no one else Does this they wouldn't have any reason to, Customers are not paying them directly. I've never even heard of such a thing. It's because it's such a greedy company. They're so worried about getting their money even though they're paid from CMP! They do the same thing to community concepts they won't let you put in a 100 gallons because they want to make Sure that they get all their money up front, and they don't even pay them back. Completely rude and unprofessional. I almost didn't even get my oil once because the driver forgot his unlock tool as they were trying to Ask me for the tool or to get it, when all drivers are Supposed to carry that from any company. Unbelievable ! They're totally ridiculous to deal with, The lady was so rude. The customer service is in the toilet. I literally had to beg for the delivery because I was on zero. And they already had their money up front Which is exactly why they didn't care. Not to mention I don't know what credit they were looking at been with cmp for twenty years have More than one account- you would think common sense would set in must be pretty good credit. Typical GREED! Welcome to maine.

I used to be happy with CN Brown, even though they don't guarantee the price, they were gracious and used to charge the price when I called to order fuel. I guess that changed. I know with the surge of the prices... but still

They always are quick to help you order oil. They make sure you know how much a gallon is currently and usually deliver well before they estimate.

We became customers a year ago February and have had excellent customer service. I have never waited more then 2 days for delivery. My last oil company, would be 2 weeks wait time.

I have dealt with a few other companies in the past and customer service at CN Brown blows the other companies out of the water. I receive HEAP and when was going through another local company, they actually stole money from my HEAP because they would quote me one price and deliver with another price, that same day. CN Brown had been honest, dependable and every time I call, the woman that answers is personable and kind. I am very happy with their all around service. Thank you
