Pulled into pep boys in auburn right before closing, caught something in my tire and had a complete flat. It’s 90 degrees out with disgusting humidity I’m pregnant and they refused to do anything to help. I had a spare in my trunk and just needed help putting it on. Had money on me to pay for whatever service they could have provided to help me in this situation. It’s been almost two hours now still trying to figure this situation out. Definitely would not recommend.

Took 2 hours to do an oil change! Reason given was "a new person doing oil change". I was not given any notice concerning this and not approached about the time it was taken! I went to the counter to find out where the process of work being done! Never given any information about where we were in the process or hiw much time left before the oil change was to be completed! Over 2 hours for a simple oil change! Never to use Pepboys again!

I went to pep boys needing a serpentine belt, they got to my vehicle early and stated I have oil leaks and wait until next day for the head tech, we'll that wasn't true and was going to replace the belt. The tech went on med leave and was told he was the only tech that could do it. That doesn't make sense only one tech can do that. To me they have backyard mechanics. If I had a floor jack I could have replaced the belt. Appts are easy to get, but the expoerence level are suspect.

Had a great experience, they were able to get me in right away for a your repair and didn't charge an arm and a leg. They didn't try to upsell me on anything, brought all concerns to me before doing any work on the car and helped me prioritize what needs to be done right away and what can wait.
