The Augusta Civic Center is a versatile venue serving the area since 1973. It offers a universal layout that is easy to navigate for any event type, from conventions and trade shows to basketball games and community events. The space is very versatile, with a classy set up, consistent sound management, and a huge, convenient parking lot. While clearly an older venue that could use a few improvements, it is clean and well organized. The professional and friendly staff provide world-class service, though some note that events can be overpriced and outside food and drink are not permitted. It remains a reliable and impressive space for both large and small groups.
My chips got stuck in the vending machine, but the custodian got them for me! It's the little things that count.

The largest flea market in maine. What a great event. Everything you could possibly want or need in one stop shopping. We love doing this market.

Nothing special about this place. Can't bring in food or drinks from the outside, usually over priced events, except boys basketball. I'll pay all day to see my nephew play. Anyway, it's nice to have a big space for events.
