About Augusta Dog Park
Augusta Dog Park is a dog park with two separate areas for large and small or less friendly dogs. It provides water spigots, fecal bags, and trash cans, with amenities available until fall. There are picnic tables, benches, and a small shelter. Toilets are porta potties or portajohns. The park setup is nice and it is a place for dogs to socialize and run. However, it has been hard-used and needs some TLC. The large dog side has mostly dirt where grass is gone, and it can be muddy with waste not always cleaned up. The park is fairly well-kept but sometimes smells unpleasant. A no-smoking sign is not always followed.
